Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

they argued my right to ascension

It was raining, it was cold and he was wet. His mood as about entirely charming as the ice that layered the footpath he strode determinedly atop, tall form hunched beneath the hood of his jacket in some effort to maintain what little warmth he had manage to cling to despite having been forced to traipse all over town in an increasingly futile effort to track down Katerina. He had tried Kohl's house first, the other Hunter seeming to have been dragged out of bed despite it being nearly midday to get the door, the man having stared at him bleary eyed for several moments before announcing that Kat was not there and had most likely gone jogging. In this weather, Azrael had been entirely doubtful and yet truly the blonde-haired man hardly believed Kohl had the presence of mind to actually be attempting to deceive him nor consider the ridiculousness of his own answer. Given it was truly the only lead he had managed to gather however the man had taken himself out towards the public sporting fields where little more than a man walking his dog could be found this particularly bitter day. An attempt to actually phone Katerina had simply rung out, Azrael half content to believe the woman was ignoring him simply because she could and was most likely somewhere in Kohl's bedroom avoiding work- even despite her track record seeming to dictate that work was by far the greatest of her loves, even before her boyfriend or whatever the hell he was.

It was nearly an hour later that the Hunter finally arrived at her house, this home significantly less extravagant then Kohl's veritable mansion- in fact, Azrael found himself decidedly more comfortable in this neighbourhood as he forced one hand from his pockets long enough to knock at the door. If Katerina was not here he had already resolved himself to going home, far to irritable to bother tracking her any further and if she was determined to ignore her cell phone then so be it. The work could wait- even though he would have much rather simply gotten it over with now. The door suddenly opening was met with a grunt of relief, the tall young man moving to step inside without invitation, pulling his hood down to shake the near outrageous gold of his hair out and free of snowflakes before equally golden eyes flickered down toward Katerina's own.

"I've only been looking for you for half the fucking day, I...."

There is a momentary pause in his usual irritable tirade, this side of his nature making the man decidedly unpopular with most of his peers and yet his near relentless attitude to his art having seen most around him forced to tolerate his behaviour in respect for that hunting skill. It is one such skill that sees his gaze narrow now, eyes drifting about Kat's rather small and....bare home.

"Are you moving? Where the hell is all your furniture? Did you get robbed?"

Why anyone would have stolen what looked like mostly second hand furniture anyway the man hardly knew, dismissing it with a loose wave of his hand all the same. How she chose to live was hardly his concern and yet why she spent so much time at Kohl's was at least becoming clear. Perhaps she was moving in with him, it would at least explain why she seemed to have the most minimalistic living style the man had seen in his rather long life. Another soft shake of his head sees the Hunter reach briefly inside his jacket to pull out a stack of paperwork hastily bound together, the man moving to stride smoothly towards the dining room table and the only useful looking work place available before eyeing the single chair. The only device for sitting the girl actually seemed to own aside from a green cushion that looked more expensive than the chair it sat on. Very well then. Whatever remains of his olden day manners however, refuses to allow him to sit without being invited, much less to sit on the only chair and force a woman to stand. Azrael moving to simply toss the papers onto the table before leaning himself easily against the edge- arms folded across his chest in evident displeasure. A near constant mood setting for the man.

"Since you the only other council representative in this area I need you to go through some things with me and discuss another operation they seem to want done as well as a potential breech of conduct. Answer your phone next time and we could probably have done half of this already. How was Paris?"

The end of his sentence at least is spoken as little more than a casual afterthought and yet the disapproval in his tone is palpable, despite no outward sign of open displeasure. How Kat had the time to go prancing around Europe for fun he hardly knew, Kohl a waste of space entirely by his own calculations- although the man had shown some promise recently with his weapons. He could admit to that- begrudgingly. He paused now, reaching over to begin to go through the paper work on the table, hardly caring as to whether this was a good time for her or not. The sooner they were done the sooner he could leave and make them both happy.

"So where do you want to start on this? We have a potential underground vampire blood syndicate to investigate, a complaint from some Hunter with a ridiculous name against another Hunter that means at least one of us is going to have to look at, a review into continuing to ignore the west side pack as long as they keep acting peacefully, a few fairy owned bars to look at and what is apparently a search warrant for your boyfriends house- apparently other Council Members want to know what he's doing with all the fire power. I didn't tell them about him though, before you bite my head off. Apparently some Council members live in fear he is going to turn his new weapons against the council and start some sort of revolution."

This information momentarily sees the older man snort in derision, the barest hint of amusement touching his lips.

"Kohl couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a Mack truck- I don't know why their worried. Either that or they fear he'll sell to supernatural's themselves."

One eye lifted solely, eyeing the woman now in evident anticipation of a response and some assurance that this was not her boyfriend's grand plan.
