Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Her new power was respectable if anything, the woman before him not the first he has known to wield such a thing and yet he has seen its capabilities all the same- her teasing words and smug delight as irritating as it was challenging though for now he offers no further comment on it. Her assurance that he alone was the catalyst for such a situation is met with little more than a shrug of sorts, shoulders rolling loosely as his gaze remains upon the child she holds- though her words turn smoothly within his own mind all the same. Perhaps she was correct, perhaps he had been the catalyst for such a thing and yet he hardly finds himself to apologise to greatly for it. If his mere scent had been the Leopard boys undoing then so be it. The task at hand would only prove itself easier than he had anticipated, Nadya herself seeming to only further his cause in that moment with her softly spoken words, tone quiet though assured all at once.

"Then with or without me this still would have occurred if he is as unstable as you suggest."

They were words of her making, rather than his own, merely pressing home the point he feels more inclined to acknowledge in this moment. The more unsafe and insecure she felt with her current pack the more likely she was to seek to abandon them at some point. He simply had to wait it out without pushing entirely too much. She was a spirited thing, this girl, yet he hardly desires that same power of spirit to be turned back upon him lest he drive her in the other direction entirely. Women are truly worthy adversaries in such games- far more challenging than men. Men were foolish, prideful, prone to action without thought, but women, especially those like Nadya, with children, tended to be far more adapt then they ever let on. Convincing her of anything was sure to fail unless she was lead to believe it was her own idea first. Convincing her to abandon her family perhaps the most challenging of tasks he had ever taken on and yet he remains assured of himself all the same. Any further mention of Tobias is dropped then, the stallion having no desire to continue with it as Nadya's attention remains on her son, the softly sung lyrics of a song he did not know seeing his head lift slightly to regard her as he moved away from the child. His Spanish was...average at best, some of the words familiar, others beyond his grasp and yet the words of a lullaby hardly stirred any true intrigue within his mind.

Whatever the meaning of the song, the newly healed boy had settled only further, allowing Nadya to stand once more and right herself, fixing her dress before attempting to wrestle the boy into some outfit. For his part, Frost is merely content to watch, dressing infants was not truly a task at which he excelled, Nadya's words met with a nod before the other child yelling 'bay' at him seemed to draw his attention, violet gaze cast downward now at the infant girl at his feet.

"Bay?"

A small frown creases the man's youthful features, eyeing the child in some effort to understand what she seemed to desire as she held up the slightly sodden stuffed animal. He had never been with his own children nearly long enough to reach such a stage as this. He had seen them born and little else, held one or two of them before they had been taken away, playing with them had surely been out of the question and as such the stallion simply stares towards the infant girl who continues to wave her toy.

"Bear."

He answers at last, eyeing the child almost warily, as if seeking some sign of approval from the infant before Nadya moved to lift her upward and place her within the stroller with her brother. The woman's words seeing the equines more regular demeanour return, a thin line of sarcasm lacing the words as he offers them.

"Are you insinuating you would like me to carry it?"

He moves to do as requested all the same before following Nadya out and onto the street, the lid of the box momentarily lifted as he strides beside her.

"Ah, bunnies, how very....... appropriate."

It is evident, surely, that 'appropriate' had not been his original word choice and yet for now at least he is content to let it past as he wanders beside the woman, the scene far more.....domestic then he had ever truly envisioned for himself and yet some part of him was not wholly disapproving of it. He is given to wonder whether either Alexander of Alexis would be at the café today, although truly what they thought of his accompanying a woman and her children was not his concern. His words, when he offers them, come more suddenly this time, lashings of white hair hanging over his gaze as it always did.

"What will you do now?"

His gaze remains ahead, though his attention is upon her all the same. His question perhaps far more potent then it appeared, after all, if she had decided her children were unsafe in the company of their Father, Frost finds himself inclined to wonder as to her choices now.

"The offer I made you still stands, Naja, it always will."

He asked every time and this time would be no different. If only to remind her, as always, she had more options then she chose to believe.
