Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

It is a decidedly easy task to dunk the woman beneath the surface of the water, pushing easily away from her but a moment later to recline atop the cool water, momentarily enjoying the embrace of it. Azrael, after all, was rarely inclined to enjoy anything, the man's often disagreeable nature generally seeing him left muttering upon the sidelines of even the most sedentary of relaxing activities. Tonight however, away from the city and the embrace of an often overwhelming population of supernatural the man found himself oddly content and entirely relaxed enough to displaying something of that rarely seen, almost gentle side to his nature that lingered somewhere beneath that often gruff exterior. The softest of chuckles rises easily within his throat, leaving the woman to flail and splutter about beneath the surface of the lake for but a moment before she resurfaced- the gold of his gaze lingering upon her as she did. The almost rebellious look with which he is presented seems to earn the woman little more than a simper of amusement, the Hunter holding little belief the girl would actually find a way to retaliate save for perhaps attempting to dunk him in return. A futile thing, he is sure, the man more than ready for it despite the almost lethargic appearance his toned for presented here and now.

What he had perhaps not anticipated was the splashing the girl had decided to take up, a sound of surprise leaving his lips as the water splashed onto his chest and face, a momentary splutter assaulting his figure, forcing him to tread water in a far more upright position- his feet only just capable of reaching the bottom of the lake. One hand reaches easily upward, wiping the droplets from his eyes, fingers running easily through the wealth of white gold hair in an attempt to rid it too of the water she had managed to coat it with. His golden gaze narrowed slightly upon her though the look held no true malice within it, indeed, for once, the look remains entirely playful even despite the manner in which they roll at her words.

"On the contrary, the lake was my idea, so really you didn't get me to strip at all- I did it all on my own."

The tease within his words is entirely clear, Azrael seeing little need not to goad her- a least a little. The man content to assure her that stripping was surely more by his own design then any cunning plan on her own part- the smug look to her features only seeming to further inspire those teasing words. That the woman might be far more at home within the water then he had truly anticipated had failed to occur to him- the Hunter having not considered this portion of her affinity and yet, in truth, he knew decidedly little about it. Water or otherwise however, Azrael is entirely assured that he can, in this game, outdo the witch- and decidedly so. His most rarely used affinity is called to life in this moment, so effortlessly weaving its way about the woman until gravity itself has shifted and the witch finds herself floating entirely upward and out of the water- the girl left hovering just barely above it- one eye of the man lifted upward in a moment of intrigue at the position she has found herself within now.

"Perhaps you might convince me to put you down too- since you're so clever."

He moves easily to recline upon his back once more, floating atop the water in a decidedly laconic position, features frowning softly.

"Of course, you did splash me too-"

He pauses once more, the young witch floating several feet higher this time, Azrael content to linger beneath her in an almost overly relaxed state.

"There was that time you told me a coat rack would attack me and then you pulled all the olives off my pizza- I haven't forgotten that."

He is content is let her float higher and higher with every word, a playfulness edged within each one before he manipulates the gravity around her stay where it is, letting her sit there a moment. The raven haired woman a bit above the lake now- though not so high as to be entirely terrifying to the woman. That, after all, is hardly his intent. There is, in fact, a decided mischievousness to the man he has perhaps never displayed before. It is his turn to allow an almost rebellious look to cross his ever-youthful features before he rather abruptly releases his hold upon her entirely- letting her free fall if only momentarily before easily ensnaring her in the embrace of his power once more- right before she can tumble into the water. This time, returning gravity to its rightful state, allowing the young witch to fall that last foot or so back into the water and rather conveniently into his arms. This, perhaps, the most affectionate he had ever been to the girl and yet tonight it would seem Azrael is entirely content to offer her much more then he previously had.

"You didn't really think I was going to drop you did you?"

He affords her a moment or two in which to answer the question before abruptly bringing his lips to her own in a kiss- the taste of her as wholly pleasing as he remembered.
