South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Edie didn't want to fight the other fox, didn't want to argue with her. She merely wanted to explain that Frost was not the monster she thought he was. Frost had been nothing but good to Edie, even if she had had to prove herself to him in order to gain her way into his pack and into his favor. But now that he could see what she was capable of, he doted on her. He treated her well. He let her use his money and invited her boyfriend into their home even though he wasn't one of them. She was well aware that the fox in front of her disagreed, though she seemed to merely insist that she was glad that Edie was taken care of. And she was. Frost was good to her. He was not a monster, even if he had done horrible things to the woman in front of her.

She listened to the accusation that he would never put himself second or harm himself. She knew it wasn't true, though she hesitated on whether or not she should tell her this. Would it be something Frost would want to keep secret? But no, Frost wanted Alexis. Alexis had said so herself. So if there was something she could do to convince the woman of Frost's good intentions, then it wouldn't be so bad. "I have, actually," She said finally, lifting her gaze to look directly at the fox. "I went to go snoop in the Ark one night. He's interested in Nadya, I don't know if you knew that or not. But we got in a fight and she exploded something and it sliced the fuck out of my side. When my boyfriend brought me home, Frost... His power... he can heal by taking on wounds. He didn't have to. I would have healed on my own. But he took my wound so that I wouldn't be in pain."

She continued to look at the woman, giving her several moments to allow her own words to sink in before she continued. "It may not seem like Frost cares, but trust me. When he does, he really cares. I'm not denying that he wants power, but that's not the only reason he's an Alpha. My powers help him. But he likes me for me, too." She watched the other woman as she spoke of her old pack, and she couldn't help but sympathize with her.

Moving to lay down in the grass, the young fox stretched out her legs before she spoke once more. "My home pack was awful, too. I'm so sorry that you went through that. My father tried to marry me off to the Alpha's son, who... was not a great person. He used me frequently as a guinea pig as he developed his powers. I know what it's like to not be trusting of your pack. But once you find a pack that loves you, it's amazing."

She focused on the woman as she spoke of putting their differences aside. It was hard to not be skeptical of the woman. After all, she'd grown up being friends with only those that her Alpha's son approved of. Which was just his own - male - friends. Now, in Sacrosanct, her closest companions were Frost and Kato. The other women in the pack were ones that she didn't feel particularly close with. "No, of course it doesn't. I'd love to try to be your friend." Her voice may have been skeptical, but her words were genuine. "As for fun. Anything. I like to go to clubs a lot. Something about getting attention from boys makes me happy, even if I do have a boyfriend."
