South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Dorian was not the only supernatural creature she came across that didn't know much about Weres or pack life. There was another fae that had no clue and yet she was learning. She did not know much about his own species, but she was willing to learn. For a girl that was extremely sheltered it was natural for her to be a bit curious and to question things, if the opportunity was within a safe environment. Now seemed perfectly fine. She wasn't sure how he would react with her asking him questions, poking and prodding around, but she would tread so very carefully. When he begins to ask her questions she is only happy to provide him answers, quite content to do such a thing. Politely she nods gently explaining to him just where she and her mate dwell.

"Yes, we live on a ship in the West District, that district is our territory. Packs are like families, you live together."

In a way Raven is pleased to see that he seems quite content to continue their conversation, even though she is not of royalty nor of his species. She wasn't sure if their conversation would continue, but she rather enjoyed his company. It was a change of pace for her. To speak with someone new for such a longer extended of time. He was a bit odd, but she found his presence not alarming or terrifying. He was quite kind and polite. A small simper appeared on her pink lips, her cheeks changing to a light shade pink, still slightly embarrassed that all his attention was on her. As the conversation switched to how he came about here, she nodded her head slowly, pulling some of her golden-brown curls behind her ear.

"We have a council of Dark Hunters here. They tend to keep the order. Some leave you alone if you don't do anything wrong, but others...they'll kill you on the spot."

That he had somehow been captured by Dark Hunters was quite a sad thing, especially now that he was so far away from his home. How difficult it must be to not only adjust to a new setting, but a new time period as well. She would not pry any farther about why he was kidnapped and taken so far away from his home. After all she hardly wished to discuss her own past and so she understood there was no reason to press the matter any farther. She is however, fascinated with how he was able to bring meaning to her name. She titled her dial slightly, curious, remaining silent and allowing him to finish. It was his question about her ancestors being known for destruction. Her eyes would lower as her fingers gently twisted around one another, her usual nervous tick, as she gently explained her species to him.

"Werewolves have always been considered evil in human lore, just like vampires. I think, like humans, all Werecreatures evolved. Perhaps the first generation of werewolves, and other werecreatures, were more in tuned to their animal side, but after each generation they contained themselves and had better control. So, I wouldn't doubt it, I mean..."

I know I can destroy things, she thought as she grows suddenly silently. Blue-grey eyes look immediately away from the Fae King, ashamed and worried to look at him, thinking perhaps he could read her mind and understand. Of course he couldn't read her mind, but she didn't want to give him any thoughts that she might be thinking...just in case. Maybe she held one of those older traits that her ancestors had when they were one of the first Werecreatures, maybe down the bloodline she just happened to get it. As she pries gently to know about his own family there is a sad look in her eyes, sad that he did not know his true parents, and yet happy that he had at least a loving family. It was so very rare to have one of those.

"But that is kind that they took you in, even if you weren't truly theirs', especially when your Father kept it a secret."
