South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Edie's 'I told you so' about the whether hardly caused Kato to cease his grumbling. He released the duffel bag in order for Edie to search its contents in order to pull out the single sweater he owned. Kato looked less than pleased as he pulled the material on before picking up the bag once more and following Edie to the train pick-up area. "You know I don't do shopping." He sighed and inwardly dreaded the moment his girlfriend would drag him into a clothing store.

Kato followed her onto the bus and settled into the seat beside her. She was the tour guide in this country so he was quiet taking it all in....not that there was much to see through the rain in his opinion. At least Africa was alive with wildlife. "It's wet.." Kato commented offhandedly, lacing his fingers with hers once setting down the bag at their feet. "You've got a coat too and already small...you'd look drowned." He teased lightly with a small smirk. At least in his Were form he didn't have a furry coat to worry about being drenched. The worst that would happen is his weight would make it difficult to walk on any sodden fields. The warmth he felt from her hand was the same that he felt on the plane when he was feeling sick and again found his queasiness subsided. It was something she was doing and would have to investigate more at another time.

Edie brought up meeting her family and pack and it stirred in him the remnants of anger he had felt on the plane. His muscles tensed as he gently squeezed her hand, "No....I'm not nervous." Nervous was far from what emotion he was feeling. He was angry at how parents could do that to a child and how a bastard could still call himself a man after treating a woman how he treated Edie. The only thing that caused Kato hesitation was perhaps his unsurity that he wouldn't end up breaking this...Beck. Kato's gaze slid away from the window of the bus to lift Edie's hand that he held to to brush his lips against her knuckles. "We don't have to talk about it, Little Dove, there's nothing more to talk about." Truly he felt that all that could have been revealed she had done so on the plane. There couldn't possibly be more that happened and it would perhaps only cause him to feel the need to batter this Beck more anyways. "Why don't you tell me about the tourist sights there are around here that we can go see, hmm?"
