South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Fate had tested her time and time again throughout her life. Marked by a villainous creature and named after a creature coveted in darkness, she was a creature destined for a hard life and tragedy. Somehow she managed to overcome all the hurdles that life threw at her, common and uncommon. Even though she had low self-confidence in herself it would seem her spirit was absolutely resilient. Quietly she listened to the Fae King, her uneasy blue-grey eyes shifted to meet up his silver gaze, her body slowly leaning into him. It would seem her animal side was actually enjoying his gentle touch finding it reassuring, her mind focusing on how gently his nimble fingers stroke through her thicker coat. As the King speaks of people using her sub-species to appear on their coat of arms or shield, she could agree with the reasoning behind it. Everyone wants to appear strong, confident, and threatening against their enemy. However, when Dorian suggests that others would be jealous of her, her ears flatten as she turns her head away, embarrassed and bashful, her tail curling around her back feet.

As he removed himself from her side her eye focused on him and the stallion that he assured would not harm her. Still unwary with the equine she kept her eye on the beast not sure if the lithe King was capable of controlling such a massive beast. Eyes widen when she noticed how large his hooves were, noticeably she shuttered, clearly uncomfortable entirely. With the rules in place of what would occur on this hunt, she went on ahead and searched for their prey. Brining the Fae King a rather large rabbit she chased it towards the male, carefully making sure she wasn't close to his 'gentlemen' steed. When Dorian shoots an arrow at the rabbit she releases a sharp bark, alerting him as was her nature, his strike did not hit true. With the order given the peculiar coated lupine rushes past the equine, jaws parted as she pounces upon the wounded rabbit. For a moment the rabbit struggles within her jaws and the lupine stands there until she slowly lowers it to the ground, placing two paws upon it, releasing her jaw momentarily until it snaps perfectly into the neck of the creature, the rodent no longer moving. Softly her voice presses into his mind once more, as she stands there still for a moment.

"I severed the neck, you can actually see through it. Is that clean enough for you?"

As she stands there with the dead rabbit in her jaw her dial turns to face him for a moment. She knows she is supposed to go to him and give him the rabbit, but it was a struggle to hold down her animalistic side. This was her kill, it was her right to keep it, and yet he wants it. He is not Alpha or mate, or pack mate, so there is no need to give it to him. Hearing his praise naturally soothes her, grey painted banner swaying side to side in a happy manner, and yet she still does not move. Watching him hold out his hand she manages to free herself and walk slowly towards him, raising her dial slightly so that she drops the dead creature into his waiting hand. Tilting her dial to the side she watches him intently, unsure what else there was to do. It was when he begins to speak does her eyes suddenly widen as the dead rabbit, had somehow, rolled out of his hands and began hopping around. Although she was a predator she was terrified to see the dead prey come back from the dead. A horrified feminine voice presses into Dorian's mind, as she backs away from the hopping rodent.

"It was dead! It's alive...WHAT DID YOU DO DORIAN!"

Raven doesn't understand. It didn't make sense. It wasn't logical. It wasn't even natural. Never before in all her years has she witnessed a dead creature be reanimated. When she was a pup she learned very quickly how to be an efficient killer. After all if she couldn't kill her food then she wouldn't be able to eat. Blue-grey eyes watched as the creature hopped around, blood gushing out of the creature, the poor thing struggling. She didn't understand, she couldn't understand, it just wasn't possible. Quickly she moves towards him, her shoulder pressing into his leg, a very soft whimper coming from the so-called brave creature that was on men's shields and coat of arms. She raised her dial to catch the creature's scent, natural instincts reassured her it was indeed dead, but for some reason her eyes was seeing something completely different. Wearily she speaks explaining all that she can.

"It...it smells Dead...it IS dead, but it hops. Why does it HOP AND LIVE!"

Her dial twisted upwards to the Fae King, hoping he had some sort of answer. As a predator when she felt threatened she was bound to attack and destroy the very thing that caused her fear. With the zombie rabbit coming towards them she launched herself once more, her teeth sinking into its flesh, the taste of cold blood made no sense as the creature struggled to free itself. Yet she killed the creature, again, shaking her dial side to side and then dropping it instantly. Quickly she took many steps to get away from the now dead, again, rabbit. Her dial shaking side to side in disbelief as her mind rushed to make the connection. She killed it, she knows she did, but when she gave it to Dorian, nothing was the same. Softly she whispered her voice holding a horrified.

"It was dead and then YOU."

She whispered softly, her dial tucking underneath her, as her ears flatten, staring up at him confounded.

"You touched it...and it came back to life."
