South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sterling was entirely oblivious to the effect that a single date with him so manage to have upon his boyfriend. He was entirely certain that whatever they day held, it would still be the best day he'd had in a very long time. It was the first real day that was just them - focusing upon their blossoming relationship. It was the first real day that someone had so meticulously planned just for him. It didn't matter to him what the day consisted - it could rain on them for all he cared. All that mattered was that he was with Henry and for that delicate moment, the man was the entirety of his world. The warlock nuzzled into Henry's side as he took the offered sandwich, a warm simper still ever so present upon his features as he glanced up at his boyfriend. He hardly bothered to hesitate as he bit into the sandwich, enjoying the taste as he so chewed without a thought given towards the nervousness that filled Henry's chest. He glanced upwards at the sound of Henry's voice, that grin once again filling his features before he nodded firmly. "Mmhm!" He commented, still chewing the sandwich within his mouth. It was only after he swallowed that his attention turned fully upon his boyfriend. "It's wonderful, Henry. You did really well...thank you for this." He uttered softly, leaning forward to press his lips sweetly against the corner of Henry's mouth.

He settled back against his lover as he continued to nibble on his sandwich, entirely content to eat the entire thing.. Though Sterling was hungry enough he would have eaten virtually anything Henry had presented to him, he did wholly believe that the meal was altogether delicious. Their picnic was perhaps the perfect way to say goodbye to the warm weather of spring and embrace the chilliness of the next upcoming months. Still, the prospect of spending the holidays with Henry sounded...altogether delightful. "Henry?" He inquired softly after popping the last piece of the sandwich in his mouth and swallowing it. "Did you....still intend to go back to New York? I mean, I know you don't have to go to figure out who you are any more but... I figure you have more loose ends there then I do." There was, entirely, a reason behind his inquiry, and yet, knowing the man's intention was perhaps the first thing before he suggested they make a vacation of the whole affair. Going back to New York didn't seem all that bad, after all, they still had their flat there. "I wonder if my plants are still alive...." Sterling inquired softly, suddenly, his thoughts momentarily drifting to the life they had once shared.
