South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

In a way he is relieved that she is there to distract him from what he must do. Despite the suffering that his body goes through each time he attempts to rebel, he hates it less than what he must do. The only caveat that he is grateful for is that the woman who cursed him did not make him kill humans. It was the only kindness she bestowed upon him after his rejection but he is certain that had more to do with the other fae cautioning her against such a thing. A dead human a week for eternity? It would certainly turn focus onto the fae society. While it was once hidden it was more involved in worldly affairs than ever before. Such a thing had to be maintained with certain dignity.

Blaise is an excellent actor. As he draws near she stares in shock at her knee and he does a double take, noting that it looked rather painful. Not to mention the scrapes on her hands. He feels pity for her. Humans healed so slow - such a thing would only be a nuisance to him for a few hours. Except he gets an uneasy sense something is off. At the same moment he feels it his stomach churns and his lips thin, eyes hooded to try and hide the pain that grips him. It is strong, a roiling feeling that demands attention. Demands blood. He blinks it away when she looks up at him, trying to hide it, and finding it rather forgotten at the green in her eyes. She is lovely with smooth features.

With a friendly smile he offers her his hand, feeling a twinge of guilt for not offering before she asked. He blames it on his distraction and pain. As he pulls her up he steps back slightly to allow her room lest she think he meant to cause her harm. Hyde Park, after all, was a place that many thieves and robbers visited. Not to mention other vagrants. "You are welcome," he says, opening his mouth to answer with his name before freezing. As in not a twitch, his eyes locked on her mouth and his sense suddenly flaring. Fae.

Her magic coiled around her. How had he missed it? His eyes hood and brows dip down, even as his smile falls into something fiercer. More wary. Yet innocence radiates off her. Gentleness, kindness. That didn't mean anything and yet the signals make him feel off - he wants to be kind but he also knows what could happen. "Archer," he says finally, the word almost curt. "I suppose so," he adds to her next statement, shifting slightly but never taking his eyes off her. She shivers and he groans internally. He wants to dismiss her, his dislike of being around other faes strong, but she seems to need help. She is hurt, possibly a young fae on her own for the first few times.

Finally, giving in to the warring inside of him, he turns from her to pull his hoodie over his head, giving her a glimpse of some of his back as the hoodie pulls on the white t-shirt he wears beneath. Once it is off he turns around and holds it out to her gallantly. "Here, take this. It is not so cold to me." Which was a lie as his arms already had gooseflesh but he was, above all things, chivalrous. "Why are you out here without a coat, little one?" His words are kind, not meant as an insult, but only a recognition that she is younger than he is.
