South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

"Well, yeah, I guess it does look like a spider, sort of anyway- but it's a lot stronger."

His experience with children was a decidedly limited thing, especially with vampire children. Arlo hardly fond of his own species at the best of times, this small girl entirely unexplored territory in that sense and yet neither her youth nor falsified innocence (after all no vampire was ever innocent were they?) seemed to distract the hooded young man from that singular goal that had presented itself to him. He could smell the blood within her veins, the girl having feed mere minutes ago, he was sure, her appeal to him requiring nearly every ounce of his control to prevent himself simply lunging at her, after all, he is hardly foolish. A child did not last this long because it was weak. Small or not she was surely older then himself and for that in the least her held some respect, his gaze glancing briefly behind her once more. Surely the girl couldn't be alone? Vampire or otherwise she had to belong to someone. Arlo unwilling to stand against two vampires, the man far more prone to flight then fight when it came down to it and yet for now she remained entirely unattended. How gullible she was still remaining to be seen, the man working diligently to display the use of that web to her, her childish glee at those bright blue lights that danced across that thread stirring a grin to his own features. Though why her antics seemed to amuse him he hardly knew. Arlo perhaps not so immune to a simple child as he anticipated and yet hi hunger hardly diminished all the same, the man stepping back now, allowing the vampire girl to examine his efforts as she wandered about the now unconscious woman.

His suggestion of 'sharing' however, seemed to irritate the girl almost instantly, her entire demeanour shifting, one azure blue eye arching slightly upward at her adamant response that this was her prey and she had no intention of sharing it. Well- someone didn't have brothers and sisters growing up did they? His own demeanour remains wholly placid, Arlo allowing himself a frown of sorts, leaning back against the wall of the alleyway to observe this tiny creature once more. He was assured he was entirely entitled to at least half of that meal, after all, the girl had merely chased the terrified woman into his web- even if she had hardly been what he was hoping for. In fact, without his web the woman might have run off entirely and left the girl child with nothing at all. The woman however, was hardly where his tastes lay, Arlo entirely capable of ignoring that human if he chose, the man content to feed on their kind only when he had no other option else was entirely too lazy to summon the effort needed to hunt his own kind. It would be distinctly suspicious, he is sure, to afford the girl that prey without any protest, an idea of sorts readily formulating within his mind as that scowl remains on his features.

"You wouldn't have caught her at all without me, in fact, you didn't even catch her, I did. You're a hell of a lot smaller then me though, how much blood do you even need? Why don't you go first? But I get whatever's left."

It was logical enough, after all, a vampire her size was hardly going to need an adult-sized drink of blood now was she? All he really needed to do was get her to turn her back on him...

"Where's your family? You seem awfully small to be alone, isn't some other vampire looking after you?"
