South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She noticed the look in his eyes when she asked about him hunting in his animal form. He was looking at her like she was a crazy person. The idea irritated her but she was quickly distracted as he jumped to the next subject. She would let it drop for now. Maybe she could bring it up again later after she had learned some more about this foreign world of humans. He told her that this boyfriend would tell her all about it and she shrugged.

"OKAY, I GUESS. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE A WASTE TO KILL SOMETHING THEN DO OTHER STUFF TO IT. THE MEAT'S PERFECTLY FINE FRESH."

Oh well. Maybe it would take some getting used to, this whole human thing, but at least she had learned that even some things without meat still tasted good. That was always a plus because eating was always a soft spot with her. She watched him clean up the mess she had made with the bottle of beer, noting the stiffness in his body as if he was uncomfortable for some reason. Was it her? She knew he wasn't scared of her so was it because she was watching everything he did? She could see where that could be uncomfortable. But could he blame her for wanting to know about everything? It was like every new thing he pulled out was something she knew nothing about. She had no idea humans could keep so much stuff in their houses! When he cleaned up the mess with the rag, she had to know what it was so she sniffed it, but it only smelled like the beer so she handed it back. She felt a small sting to her hand but didn't think much of it at the time. After all, she got insect bites and stuff all the time.

He told her she might like wine or koolaid, mentioning that there's some in the fridge and she tilted her head.

"DOES THAT TASTE AS GOOD AS THE SANDWICH?"

She knew THAT was good, anyway. He brought her to the bathroom and she was awe struck by all the turning of knobs and how the water just seemed to appear out of nowhere and then stop as if he could control it with his mind. Of course, she could see him controlling it with his hands and something to do with the knob. Maybe she would experiment with that later and find out if she could do it too. For now, she would be happy enough to clean the blood off her leg and maybe some of the dirt. Usually she didn't care but also she could lick herself clean. She could probably reach most places but it just didn't feel all that normal to lick herself in this form. There had to be another way, and it looked like she had found it. He left her alone with the tub of water and the soap and shampoo, running off to get something, probably something else she would have questions about. She decided to try to figure this out on her own and hopefully she would get it right.

When he came back, she asked if she had done it right, not even noticing the way his body reacted to her. She did smell something different in his smell though, something familiar since she was surrounded by males in the coyote pack too. Since he was only being nice to her though, she decided to let it go for now and just keep a careful eye on him. She watched with fascination as he poured some shampoo in his hands then reached for her hair. She stiffened at first, unsure of what she was supposed to be doing or really, what he was doing. But the feeling of his fingers in her hair wasn't altogether unpleasant. In fact, it almost felt GOOD. She leaned her head back into his hands after she relaxed a little, a soft mmm leaving her lips as she closed her eyes. All too soon his fingers were done though and he was putting new water in the tub to rinse her hair. She did as she was told, watching the dirt wash from her hair and it even changed colors a little. She had no idea her hair was really brown instead of black!

When the ritual was over, he handed her a big fluffy thing and said to use it to dry off. She scowled thoughtfully before taking it and patting at herself experimentally. When she saw it was removing the water, she started rubbing with it and was amazed at the results. Then he was handing her something else, a cloth with holes in it. She held it up, dropping the towel as she tried to figure out this new piece of fabric. Glancing at him when he told her how to put it on, she nodded before slowly lifting her leg to put it in the hole, as he had said. What she didn't count on was that fact that she was still getting used to standing on two legs, let alone one. She gasped and even screamed a little as she started to lose her balance and fall, one leg halfway in the first hole. Once she righted herself, she ended up leaning against the wall to put on the sweatpants, taking her time and even sticking her tongue out as she tried to concentrate. Once that was done, she put on the tshirt with his help and held it out by the hem, still trying to get used to the feeling of fabric against her body. Well, it wasn't fur but she guessed it would do.

Then he asked her about what she said earlier and she glanced back up at him, giving him a look like he should already know.

"EXACTLY WHAT I SAID. YOU'RE A PANTHER RIGHT? YOU SMELL ALMOST LIKE A PANTHER I MET WHEN I CAME HERE. HE WAS PRETTY FRIENDLY. ARE YOU RELATED OR SOMETHING?"
