South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

you could do anything,
if only you dared

Oh, the assassin liked this woman very much.

Vhalla can't help but flash a devilish grin back at the dark-haired woman in response to her policing the two on the lake. In response, she simply raises a shoulder in a casual gesture as her hand finds its way to her hip in her very Vhalla-like, sassy fashion. When Serafina comments so casually about her powers, the smile dies briefly from her lips as a small bloom of envy coats her emotions. How she wishes she could have an ounce of control like this woman did, though she admitted she couldn't control her other powers nearly as well, Vhalla still wished she had at least some control.

So far, her training lessons with Dorian had been a waste of time, she couldn't produce even smoke.

Vhalla bristles slightly at the notion they saved her from an early death, clearly the woman didn't know her, the assassin found that she was very capable of taking care of herself. Yet, she doesn't comment on it, she simply narrows her eyes at the wolf-girl. When she regards Raven briefly, beckoning her to join her on the shore, she's not all that surprised that the were-woman denies her. Giving a small shrug, she folds her arms across her chest, "Suit yourself," she shrugs at her, casually. Of course, the two didn't need her.

The assassin can't help but release a small chuckle at the wink that so graces her companion's features. "I very much doubt that," a devilish look dances across her eyes in return. That envy forgotten for the time being. When the black-haired woman beckons for Raven again, Vhalla watches in fascination as those blades of ice so form against the bottom of her shoe. It was intriguing really, is that what it looked like when she used her own powers? Scoffing at the idea, she shakes her head at the notion. She wasn't refined with her magic even when she could produce a flame, the witch simply turned into a human torch. She had no direction with her fire.

It's when Serafina demands Raven to fetch her does Vhalla let her hands fall to her side, incredulous. "I am not some dog to be fetched," the assassin says dryly, her brows furrowing at the couple along the lake. She's not prepared by the way she is simply lifted off the ground, her arms flailing in the air as she stares at the ground beneath her. "Hey!" she exclaims, attempting to wriggle from the control but finding that she isn't making any lead way whatsoever. It's only but a moment when she's placed on the frozen water, Raven's hand locked on her arm to steady her.

Flashing her eyes at the two, she shakes Raven's touch off just as her feet successfully slip on the ice. She barely stops herself from falling on her bottom by reaching out and grasping onto Raven's arms this time. Muttering curses beneath her breath, she steadies herself before pulling her hands to herself, her arms stretched outward slightly to get her balance. Turning slightly to regard the black-haired woman, Vhalla crosses her arms again over her chest. "I don't recall giving either of you permission to bring me here," the assassin mutters dryly, though an amused glint dances in her blue eyes.

If she was being honest with herself, it wasn't nearly as bad as she thought, though that inkling of fear coils in the pit of her stomach, she pushes it down. She needed control right now. As much as Serafina claimed she could control her magic, Vhalla wasn't entirely sure her ice could combat her fire. Pushing the thought away quickly, before the panic can set in, a delicate brow arches at the two women, "Who are you? I know Raven," Vhalla gives a brief nod to the wolf-girl, the woman had been, in fact, the first person she had met when she arrived in Sacrosanct, "I've only met one other witch before." The assassin shrugs, it was true, but she was curious.

She pauses for an answer before she quirks a grin, "You two make an interesting couple."
