South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Mira Ramos

Mira wasn't exactly sure how she expected the man to respond but it was better than expected without pushing or prying abrasively. He simply understood and left it at that, she nodded briefly drawing in breath to tame the wildness that emanated from those words. She was wound tighter than usual, her body and mind weary from travel and the poison that laced within her blood weakened her. She had been poisoned by silver before, but nothing like this. She would not voice this weakness or voice her concern even as the worry etched itself within her mind. She was unsure what was attacking her body in a most relentless way. Perhaps the silver toothed trap was poisoned with something indiscriminately potent.

He then said he would not force her and everything in her wanted her to call bullshit, to be defiant for the simple reason she knew words were meant to be broken. She knew no other way but broken promises, she knew nothing else but the pack life she had left thousands of miles behind. She shook her head to rid the thoughts that crept to the forefront of her mind like a thick black sludge, refusing her to truly leave behind the life she once knew. It would always haunt her even if she was free of it, it would take some time to truly feel that way from the hell she could hardly call a life. However, even if Mira wanted to think the jungle cat's intentions were malicious, she could not deny there was a softness and almost tangible morsel of something genuine in his words.

Reluctantly, she states her conditions and his answer makes her skin crawl just a bit, as he couldn't simply agree to the fair terms she had set. No, the man either was simply being difficult, or he didn't want to make a promise he couldn't keep. She took a steadying breath not in any shape to bicker with him, finding herself biting her tongue. "So we are in agreement.." A small smirk plays upon her own lips, oh she would play that game. "For now." If only they had met on better terms and he would have a lot more to contend with. However, for now was good enough for her. In this very moment, it had to be.

She was just about to open her mouth to voice her concerns that his next words were awfully borderline a command rather than a request. Her mouth seemed to hang open for a moment, the words of protest begging to flow but came to a resounding halt. She wasn't entirely sure she could make a promise not to spew whatever she had eaten as it churned precariously within her gut. What the hell was that trap laced with? Something wasn't entirely right. Mira hadn't much time to ponder such notions as he simply grabs her arm in a firm grip and everything goes unearthly black for but a split moment.

It was only within a fraction of time, a blink and then they were somewhere else. Simply gone from the cold embrace of the woods and into a cozy yet worn studio apartment. What in the fuck? She takes a moment to take in her surroundings, unable to hide the surprise off her features and that was damn disorienting. She had heard of weres getting powers and rarely seen it as her once alpha made sure to it. The thought made her shudder as a memory came into focus. She pushes it out, grateful it was enough to keep her from vomiting, for now. "What the hell was that? Are you trying to make me hurl?" She took a steadying breath, closing her eyes for a few moments to keep it together. As a distraction despite the vertigo, she took in his apartment, noting how very little was in it, despite the bed which was a main focal point. Maybe he didn't spend much time here? Wherever here was, she wasn't entirely sure where that was. It could be Tibet for all she knew.

Amicably he spoke about the fully stocked fridge and the laundry mat down the street, her gaze following where he gestures."At least this makes things simple, no clothes, remember?" The corners of her lips curl slightly into an impish grin. She certainly wasn't going to need a laundry mat, but she sure as hell needed a shower. Forest debris clung to her tousled hair, fresh blood both drying and wet permeated the air of the cozy apartment. However, she was going to need her clothes and few belongings she still possessed, which were now inconveniently stashed away in the confines of the pine tree. When she was well enough, she would need to return to the forest or she would simply be naked for the rest of her life.. She couldn't very well go strutting into a store in her birthday suit with no wallet and stark naked. Tomorrow she promised herself, more like hoped. With this wound nothing was entirely certain. But if she could help it she would not overstay her welcome. Just long enough to get the answers she needed and to get walking again.

He disappears for a moment into what seemed like a bathroom, she finds the table leaning against it to take the pressure off, feeling uneasy on her feet. Once he returns he offers her a first aid kit, it was almost laughable to offer a wounded wereanimal a first aid kit considering impressive their rapid healing abilities. The kind gesture was there and she accepted it with a gentle appreciative bob of her head as he place it on the same table she leaned against. Oh how grateful she was for that table in that very moment, as it was the only thing keeping the woman upright.

"Thank you, for your kindness." The words felt strange leaving her lips, as though she hardly recognized them. She wasn't about to take this rare slice of kindness and meet it with uncalled for abrasiveness. It was strange all the same, this benevolence she was certainly not used to receiving made her feel almost awkward. She frowns for a moment, golden eyes distant. But don't think your off the hook for the answers you owe me.. At least she wasn't so far gone yet.

But she fights with every ounce fight she had could muster to face this internal war waging inside of her to keep the effects of the poison from being visible from him, knowing very well it would be short lived.
