South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

This entire matter was well beyond shocking, Dorian was assured. A pregnant vampire was utterly unheard of, the Monarch so making a note to ask Sebastian of just such a thing. After all, his own lover had several centuries of life upon which to draw and more so- surely if there had been mention of a pregnant vampire before that vampiric community might know about it? Such thoughts were dismissed for now all the same, Dorian assuring his attention remained upon Troy as the other Fae spoke of his initial meeting with his newfound lover and just how it was they had come to be in this situation. The Monarch entirely baffled at such a tail and yet he afforded it little comment. After all, whom was he to judge the nature of how a couple might meet? Had he not met his own boyfriend outside a flaming bar? Had not it been a perceived one-night stand that had so brought them together? Still, even Sebastian and he had not nearly gone so far as to see about bringing a child into the world. An idea that Dorian had, truthfully, given precious little thought too, the man far too caught up in the simple romance of having a boyfriend at all without yet considering whether they might one day decided to be parents. A conversation for later perhaps. Dorian contemplating Troy's words further, the other man seeming to have so remarkably come to terms with this news. Troy so clearly excited and yet, at least as far as Dorian was concerned- relatively calm about this entire idea. The Monarch so inclined to feel as if he himself would hardly be so calm if faced with so many unknowns! So many centuries of manners however, seeing Dorian return to that state of decorum. That playful wink he was offered stirring a smile to his lips all the same.

"I am greatly pleased for you mio amico (my friend), I shall hope for a healthy child for you. We should drink to this."

His hand waved at last, summoning that bar tender back, merely asking the man for whatever it was Troy was drinking. The nature of modern alcohols so often lost upon him that he truly held little idea of what at all to order, the man taking that glass before lifting it to Troy's own in that age-old celebratory toast. There were still but endless questions that plagued his mind, Dorian inclined to consider not only how fast that child was growing but too just what species it might be. Surely it would be Fae, or even human. Dorian contemplating just that for several moments longer, his ever curious mind more curious then he surely had right to be about a matter that did not involve himself and yet the possibilities so dazzled him! That soft clearing of Troy's throat seemed to draw his attention away from the veritable miracle of life, the other man so unexpectedly querying Dorian upon his own relationship then. The Monarch so unable to prevent that warm simper that traced his lips at but even the thought of his lover. Dorian a notoriously private being in every sense, the man contemplating his words now. After all, Troy had seemed displeased at the notion of vampires before and yet with one so carrying his child, surely he had softened some to the idea? Dorian decidedly modest about the topic all the same as was within his nature to be and yet those clear notes of delight lingered all the same within his voice as he spoke of his boyfriend.

"We are very well. I am living with him permanently now. It is my first time ever living with a boyfriend and I enjoy it immensely. We are not yet married, no, but we have spoken of the future. He is a vampire."

Dorian so at last admitted to that truth that he had so avoided before if only for that disdain he had seen within Troy, the Fae offering it confidently all the same. After all, he was hardly ashamed of what his lover was in any sense. Indeed, Dorian so wholeheartedly embraced it in most sense, his gaze lingering on the other man now to see how it might be taken.

"We travelled to England and Italy together just this Christmas past. I had forgotten that life could be exciting in any sense."
