South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The pull of the moon was strong tonight and she didn't know why until she glanced out her window. The full moon. It hit her like a punch to the gut, but not an altogether unpleasant feeling. She had been spending so much time in her human form that she had forgotten to look up at the sky as much, to notice the moon and all the different phases. But tonight was different and tonight, all her senses were alive. She could feel the urge to shift and she smirked to herself, eagerly removing her clothing as she raced out of her room and down the stairs of Frost's house. She usually felt so cramped in the house but he wanted the pack to come together. She still hadn't gotten any time to spend really with the other members but since she was a solitary creature anyway, she didn't mind so much. Besides, she had people like Frost, Tetradore, Henry, and Miyako to keep her company now. She had what she'd like to call friends. At least 2 of them bought her clothes and another 2 had bought her alcoholic beverages and she felt comfortable around any one of them so why not?

Frost was already gone so she hurried out the door, not caring at all about the wide eyed staring people as she raced nude out into the woods. She didn't want to shift in the house cause she figured it would be creepy for a coyote to wander out of his house but somehow this seemed better in her mind. She shifted easily enough once she reached the cover of the trees, calling on the fire Frost had taught her about to easily pull the shift from her hands all the way down to her toes. Soon enough, she was a coyote and it felt great! She threw her head back, a screaming howl reverberating from her lips for no one in particular before she took off racing through the woods. She wondered if she would run into any weres tonight. but then she heard the panther's noise and she paused, her ears pricking. The voice itself didn't sound familiar, almost feminine. She knew Tetradore's voice but she had never seen Henry in his were form. She only knew that he was a panther because of his smell. Could it be him? She would laugh if he had a feminine sound in were form.

She felt curious so she made her walking more stealthy and continued into the trees, using the shadows as cover until she heard another voice, this one much more familiar. Frost. So he was with the panther. Her eyes widened, hoping there wasn't trouble brewing. Tetradore had told her they didn't get along but she didn't know if Henry even knew Frost. But wait....wasn't there something about Tetradore's sister? She thought she remembered Tetradore telling her something about Frost hanging out with Tetradore's sister, who also happened to be a panther. Could it be her? Now she was really intrigued. She had picked up on the faint scent of a female on Frost when he came home sometimes and it did smell feline. She peeked her head through the bushes, glowing blue eyes making out the four figures. Three panthers and the all too familiar figure of the horse. Two of the figures were smaller, juvenile. Kids? Did they have kids together? Oh, this just got better and better? Did Tetradore know his sister had kids?

She snorted but decided if Frost was there then he would have her back if anything started, right? He was her alpha after all. She wasn't sure how a mother panther would take to her arrival so she made sure to approach from behind Frost so the panther would at least have to go through him to get to her and that would give her time to defend herself. Of course the panther seemed pretty preoccupied at the time, rubbing herself against him like a cat curling around the legs of its human owner. She paused to tilt her head, one lip quirking in amusement. So the big cats were still....just cats. Intriguing. She would have ask Tetradore if he rubbed on other animals too, just for kicks. She yipped to announce her prescence, not wanting them to think she was sneaking up on them. Her gaze swept over the three panthers with curiosity, though she honed in on the adult female's scent specifically. Yep, she smelled similar to Tetradore.

"So you're the sister."

She murmured as she got closer. Her ears pricked forward, her tail giving a gentle swish to show she came in peace and meant no harm. She knew how protective any mother could be over their kids. She had seen many mothers attack even members of their own pack in defense of their pups in the coyote pack. She stopped by Frost's shoulder, not wanting to get to close to the cubs in case the other female got the wrong idea. She nodded her head to her, offering a smirk in greeting.

"I'm Malia. You are?"

She glanced up at Frost out of the corner of her eye in a "you gonna introduce your girlfriend?" kind of way, sure he could probably practically read her thoughts through their pack connection or whatever.
