South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Seeing their leader flying up within the rafters was enough to spark a renewed willingness to serve him and attack. She could actually see it in the way they attacked her. Some were swinging or jabbing their metal pipes at her, while others were attempting to slice her with their large blades in their hands. Their confidence was growing as they continued their assault. Dodging and blocking their blows were enough to keep her focus entirely on them. However, her eyes would drift over to the ice that held her witch, taking note where the Dark Hunter was as he continued to chink away the ice. As the Fae continued to fly above she released a warning bark hoping that would bring enough attention for Azrael to notice. The last thing Raven wanted was this Fae bringing Sera harm while the Dark Hunter was too busy chopping away the ice. Her eyes could no longer stay on the Fae, not when the men continue closing in on their approach. Quickly she pounced using claw and teeth to get rid of them, occasionally lifting one up and letting gravity take control.

It was the sudden bright blast of light that momentarily blinded the men and lupine. The last thing she could see was nothing. Her eyes blinked quickly as colorful spots erupted and blocked her vision. A sharp whine could be heard as the lupine staggered back and forth, her eyes closing as the darkness brought some relief. Dark shadows began to swarm around the lupine providing her a brief moment of safety as she attempted to get herself to see again. Her vision was not perfect, but she could at least see familiar figures circling around her. Lowering her shadows down did she begin to resume her attack, her vision slowly returning to normal. Grabbing the nearest man she could find she swung her head back and forth, hardly knowing that the Fae was attempting to shoot a laser beam at her. Her dark fur would bristle up as she felt something was completely off. Looking around for the reason why she felt unsettled she didn't realize that the danger was right above her. It was the quick chill she felt above her that caused her dial to lift upwards at the ice that was forming. Looking at the ice she noticed there was something big and red lighting up, sensing this was bad she ran away from the ice that was forming, rushing behind the crates for cover.

A blast of the laser beam could be heard from where she stood, shards of ice breaking and scattering all over the place. Looking upwards she saw Azrael doing, well something to get the Fae to come crashing down to the ground, laser beams coming out from him at the descent. Ignoring the men that started to close in on her again she leapt towards the fallen Fae, growling as he slammed into the ground. Snarling she bit into him, growling as creature screams turned into howling screeches. Walking off of him she lifted his mauled form slamming it up and down into the ground, over and over again. With their leader dead there was no need for them to stick around. Whatever reason they captured the witch surely didn't mean they needed to risk their lives anymore. As the men began to flee the lupine slowly walked over towards the couple standing in the middle of melted ice, her tail swaying left and right. Walking over some of the melted ice to get to the two, she whimpered softly as she pressed her muzzle into the witch's side, nuzzling her gently. Her eyes would shift over to the Dark Hunter for a moment, a silent thanks thrown his way, as she returned her focus entirely on the witch.

"I know you might want to be with Azrael tonight, but I can I stay close to you tonight too, please?"
