South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Within their small misfit pack, everyone had their own problems to deal with. The nice thing about belonging to a family was that they weren't always alone. Raven knew she could rely on Tetradore and Tobi to help her with any problem or challenge that came her way. Even when Regan was around she knew her company would be accepted and the mute would do whatever she could for her. As for Henry, well, that was debatable and yet he too would probably become a reliable comrade. The multi-colored lupine never had a support system before. She was accustomed to being abused or ignored entirely. Whatever problems she had it wasn't something she voiced aloud to others. Actually, she hardly told anyone in her pack anything, only when she needed to. Letting Tetradore be aware she had seen her Father still alive was a necessity. If he and her mate could keep Frost at bay then perhaps they could help her with her Father. The only time she saw him was when she was running away from a crazed Dark Hunter, with Frost riding on her back. Raven was grateful for the chance to belong and be accepted, especially she truly believed she would be stuck forever alone.

She couldn't help, but feel a bit apprehensive being around Mira. It wasn't Mira's fault. Mira wasn't the one that attacked her for sheer enjoyment. It wasn't Mira's teeth and claws that ripped through her skin causing permanent scaring. It wasn't Mira's venomous words that slowly poisoned any sort of assurance of herself. It was a shame that she could not be comfortable with another wolf, and yet who could blame her? Raven only met Mira once, but that one meeting wasn't enough to provide Raven an ounce of faith that she would not be attacked. She was ashamed for thinking such a terrible thing, especially with someone she barely knew and someone that never attacked her in the first place. And yet there were some things that would take time to undone. Seeing Mira sit herself down on the ground did bring her a little bit of relief, and yet she could not get rid of that anxious dreading feeling. As she answered her questions, Raven nodded, but went completely still when she mentioned Frost. Blue-grey eyes widen slightly as she casually exclaimed she could turn into lava. The girl wanted to come to Mira's side, and yet there was that small voice in the back of her head that simply told her no.

"I'm sorry you had a run in with Frost, and...you can turn into lava?"

Her dial would tilt to the side confused. She had never heard of someone being able to turn into something else. Raven did not think that Mira was lying to her about it. It just seemed quite shocking. Quietly she nodded to the she-wolf as she inquired if she had been avoiding dark hunters. She hadn't seen any Dark Hunters lately. Even Azrael hadn't been seen for a while in the West. It was odd, but she assumed the man was busy somewhere else. Her front grey paws shifted a bit as her fluffed up tail swished back and forth, trying to find that internal peace to stay where she was. It didn't occur to Raven at all that she was reacting and acting more feline than canine. It didn't take Raven long to notice that her feline counterparts were not understating her basic movements. She was confused not understanding why they could not comprehend the littlest signals she gave. So, she observed how they silently communicated with one another and in return she began to pick up on their own habits and quirks, successfully getting them to comprehend her. All the while not realizing she wasn't using any of her canine ways. As for the whereabouts of her mate she was a bit wary to tell her the truth. He wasn't here and that led her to be open to attack, and yet Raven knew Mira wouldn't do such a thing. But sadly she couldn't help it. Sheepishly she responded gently to Mira providing her some information, none as shocking as her own.

"I live with cats, I'm bound to act like them. I don't really spend time with other wolves, I don't trust them. We got a new pack member, it's another male and feline, so they are doing things. Let the guys be guys, you know?"
