South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Not everything in life was fair. That was the thing about life, you weren't made any promises, just the guarantee that at the end you'll be dead. That was something everyone had in common. From the Alpha to the Omega. It simply didn't matter, everyone would end up the same way. The question was, what would you do with yourself until the inevitable occurs. Raven was not used things going well for her. After being abused over and over again it was difficult for the woman to try and even have a glimpse of hope for herself. All of that changed though when she came to this faraway city. Here she was free. Free from her very past. No longer was she trapped and stuck within a cage. The chains she wore didn't hold her down any longer. Within this city the lonesome damaged creature managed to find her own little place to call home. Here the she-wolf found a family that treated her with respect and care. There was no mistreatment. For the first time she was able to show her worth to her pack, being a caregiver of sorts. Working in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal, or working diligently on the pack business in her Alpha's office, Raven was eager to do whatever she could for her little family. All she wanted to be was included. Never did she believe that one day she would find herself a mate, he was peculiar in every way, and yet it was evident that he had a strong affection for her. As for her friends, well, they were the closest and best ones she ever had. With all those that she loved and cherished, Raven could only put up with being around others for so long.

Tonight the peculiar colored she-wolf was roaming through the unclaimed portion of the woods. Grey-paws barely left prints in the dirt below as she happily ran, stretching her limbs, allowing herself this moment of splendid joy, liberated if only for a moment. She was not running away from anyone or anything. Just for a little while she wanted to be on her own. Everyone deserved to have a little me time sometimes. There was absolutely nothing like it, running through the woods! She was simply enjoying the feeling of her limbs snapping, her heartbeat racing, the wind tearing through her thick dark fur, while he nose was assaulted by various strange scents. Her sub-species was built to endure a long run. However, she couldn't run forever the nimble she-wolf had to slow down. Heading up towards the side of the woods, closer to the park, she eventually started to slow down. Lifting her head upwards she sniffed for some sort of water source nearby, but the only thing she could catch was dingy, smoky scent. Standing still, her ears twitched back and forth, noticing she wasn't hearing any crickets. Actually, she couldn't hear anything at all. A sudden cold chill ran up her spine as her eyes widen. As a wolf she was accustomed to being the predator, but she had a dreadful feeling that tonight she was the prey. It was that sudden click that made Raven twist her head around sharply, to see a tall male with a gun pointed at her.

Terrified she propelled forward attempting to escape the area. Of course Dark Hunters were well known to hunt within the area. However, Raven thought that being on an acquaintance level with her witch's Dark Hunter boyfriend, she wouldn't be placed on some sort of hunt list. Surely, Azrael would have done her a small ounce of kindness by ensuring the Dark Hunters within the city would leave her alone. Then again maybe because of her past she would never be taken off such a list. A loud crack could be heard as the lupine felt something whizz by her head. Dark shadows began to swirl around her for cover as she used the shadowy blockade for her escape. She needed to lose him, but how? She couldn't run that far anymore, already she was getting tired from her earlier sprint. As a wolf if would be understandable if she hid on the ground, but what if she hid up above? Not knowing that one tree in particular was already claimed. Using her telekinesis she lifted herself upwards. Her wolf size would not do if she was going to stay hidden on a branch. As she elevated into the air her lupine form shifted into a much smaller frame. Settling herself on a branch she balanced herself as best as she could on her smaller puppy-sized paws. Craning her head to look over, she used her telekinesis once again to shake a tree that titled over the sidewalk, causing some of the sticks to fall, if he ran over them she would at least hear it. The Dark Hunter ran faster than she could see, the only thing she heard was the sound of him crushing the sticks on the pathway. Proud of herself her little grey tail wagged to and fro, which caused the poor pup to tumble from the tallest branch and fall into the lap of a girl. The adorable looking creature looked up innocently, a gentle voice would press into the woman's head, Raven attempting to communicate with her unknown savior.

"Hello..so...um...please don't drop me. But...a Dark Hunter ran past us...and he might come back."
