South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras was surprised to have found yet another faerie in Sacrosanct. The city seemed to be swarming with all sorts of supernatural creatures except for the Fae race. They were a dying breed and the High Lord was concerned they would be extinct sooner rather than later. It was not a comforting thought. Though he was only one man, he was inclined to offer a home and protection to ever Fae he met down the road.

So, as he makes his way beneath that true, his head tilted back slightly to catch a glimpse of that petite woman above him, he chortles in amusement at her startled reaction. The man had not expected to catch the faerie woman off guard, yet, he met her green eyes with his own hazel, a lazy smile stretching across his lips.

It was the demanding tone in the girl's voice that had Andras tilting his head at her, regarding her absentmindedly. Though, he doesn't get a chance to answer her as she fires off again, ordering him to leave her alone. Humor dances among his eyes, slipping his hands into the pockets of his pants as the stranger goes through a range of emotions. As she finally finishes her chattering if words, he releases a sigh.

"Perhaps if you wanted me to leave you be, you would have entirely ignored me and wouldn't be asking me questions," he chuckles darkly at her, a smirk adorning his lips. "And, as I am right here, I can hear you. I can assure you that being 'dim witted' is not a part of my persona," he gives her a small nod, allowing that half smile to remain on his lips.

Catching the curiosity in the woman's green eyes, she inquires as to what he is. Arching his brows in surprise, he quickly covers the expression, assuming his calm mask he so wore as a favorite. "The same as you," he comments, reaching a slender finger up to tap at his pointed ears. "There are not many Fae left in the world, so I suppose I am a little surprise to find someone who has never met one of her own race," he admits, letting his hand hang limply at his side. "To answer your earlier question, my name is Andras. Who are you?" He repeats her words, amusement costing his lyrics. Extending a hand, he waits to see if she will shake it before lowering his hand again.

"Now tell me, why are you up in a tree in the middle of the night? Don't tell me you were going to sleep here," he asks, his interest piqued at the absurd situation he found himself in. Letting his attention wander away from the strange woman, his hazel eyes scan the darkness for a long moment. Andras didn't particularly need another surprise encounter like the other night. Cursing himself inwardly as his thoughts continued to travel back to the human woman, he narrows his eyes, drawing himself out of his mind. Returning his undivided attention back to the petite girl above him, he waits patiently.
