South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Abby liked dreams. In fact, she loved dreams. Dreams were absolutely great because they let her do stuff she didn't normally get to do in the waking world. Even the weird dreams had their own sort of charm to them. Still, dreams where she could be other animals were like the best ones and, as it turned out, being a fish was actually kind of fun! She could swim a little here, then swim a little there, and oh look! There were fishy friends! Unfortunately for her, they were fishy friends she'd never quite get the chance to meet, her body quite near demanding the free falling red panda into some resemblance of wakefulness. Um....what happened to the ocean? Oh god, she was falling. She was going to die. She was going to die! Only to land on....wait....what? Was this snow?

There was definitely something fishy about that snow that had broken her fall. Abigail knew snow. The mountains that surrounded her village were darn near filled with the stuff! And winter time had a habit of coating her own home town with it. Snow was supposed to be what and cold and flakey and this....snow...thing was warm. It was very very warm. And moving. Snow didn't move. Well, it sort of moved, when it fell. But after it had fallen it certainly should move and this one definitely was. It was that near bellowing roar that captured the young girl's attention almost immediately, her own body jumping up on her that moving snow, her ears perked with alertness and yet, all Abigail saw was...wait a second - was that a itty bitty fluffy tail? She hardly had a moment to react, however, before that voice filled her thoughts, that agitation quite clear within those lyrics before that snow beneath her began to shift and roll with a rapidness that quickly offset the girl's balance. Ahhhh!! AVALANCHE! She rolled off that mound of snow, falling with a thud onto the ground. The little panda rolled once, like an armadillo, before uncurling only to flop with a hint of surprise on the ground, those hazel eyes staring up at the forest above. Well, that was unexpected.

Slowly, the girl rolled to her feet only to shake out her coat from tip of her nose down to that bushy ringed tail. There! All better! She turned quite abruptly towards that mound of snow only to stare with a look of awe at the large polar bear that stood before her. Why look! IT WAS HER ARTIC COUSIN! Wasn't this exciting! That chirp rather excited left her lips, the young woman all but ignoring that clear glimpse of agitation upon the bear's features. After all, she was certain it was near impossible that someone of her own species...well...related to her own species...er...had the same name bit as her own species! Well, she doubted that he would eat her. That was like...cannibalism wasn't it? He didn't look like one of those types of people. "Hiya!" That exclamation was quite near jubilant as she stepped closer towards the man, her tail quite near flopping behind her in that excitement. After all, it was a bear!!!

"Was that you who roared?! You have a super awesome sounding roar! It sounded all fierce and mighty!" The young woman chattered on with a glimpse of awe in her voice. "I can't do that." Her mouth parted, the girl clearly attempting to echo that loud sound he'd so effortlessly made and yet...any roaring effort from Abigail sounded more akin to the yip of a dog then any sort of ferocious beast. Ah well. She tried. "See....you sound amazing." She could hardly help that wistfulness and yet, the girl was hardly the type to get hung up on those things she was unable to do for very long. After all, there was a lot of things that Abigail certainly could do! Like fishing! He said he had come for a fish hadn't he? She liked fish! Maybe they could fish together! It'd be great! The girl could hardly help the way she nearly hopped in the excitement of this new found adventure with her newfound friend, even if he was not yet aware of the status that had been given to him. "Hey! Hey you said you wanted fish right? Is there a creek around here? Have you been fishing here before? I haven't gone any further then this but I think fishing sounds fun! Can I go with you?" Those hazel eyes stared up undaunted at the large bear, those ears fully erect with her excitement as her tail flopped behind her. Surely he wouldn't say no, right?
