South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She knew she couldn't thank Tetradore enough for roaring like he did. He was able to push back the coyote pack and make them steer clear of this area, at least for now. She was sure she'd run into them again sometime but for tonight, she could heal. She didn't even think about the fact that Frost and Nadya weren't too far off and might hear him. Surely Frost wouldn't come to start trouble this time. He was too busy babysitting with his girlfriend. Besides, Tetradore had Henry with him and surely Frost wouldn't want to tangle with 2 panthers. She didn't like that 2 of the 3 important men in her life found her like this but at the same time, she was glad it was Tetradore and Henry instead of Frost. Sure, Frost had his soft spots but she found a different sort of comfort in the presence of the 2 panthers. Henry had been the first to find her in human form. He protected her and tried to show her how to do things. Then there was Tetradore. He had tried to tell her what she was before anyone and she didn't listen. He was tolerable of her and her adventures then he had indulged her when she found him human in a bar.

She didn't want to give up her friendship with these two for anything. She could tell Tetradore was concerned about her but she hated to make him feel sorry for her. She didn't want that from anyone, definitely not him. He didn't look convinced at all when she said allergies so she just shrugged and looked away, not willing to admit it was more than that when she could tell he already knew. Of course he did, mr. know it all. When she mentioned Henry though, he seemed surprised, looking back over his shoulder at the other panther. Then she accused him of biting Henry and he sighed before saying it was an accident. Malia scowled and looked at Henry. "Prey? What, was he protecting a rabbit or something?" She couldn't see what kind of prey Tetradore would want to eat that a human would protect. Usually it was just wild animals they went after, right? She will admit, every once in a while, she chased a house cat, but no one had to know about that.

She glared at Tetradore a little bit more before he said that he apologized and she snorted. "Yeah, I bet that solved everything." She was only teasing him though, sure that Henry had gotten over it in a way by now. She just wanted to give Tetradore a hard time now that she had something on him. Besides, she could tell Tetradore felt really bad about turning Henry. She couldn't help but smirk when Henry said that Tetradore was an asshole, her eyes lighting up as her tail waved. This was one way to distract her from her pesky emotions. Then Henry said that he was trying to rescue a dog and her eyes widened at Tetradore. "You wanted to eat a DOG? You know they're related to my kind somewhere down the road, right? That's, well, that's...okay, I can't say anything. I've eaten a few cats in my day." She looked away, putting on a sheepish face. She couldn't bring herself to get onto Tetradore. It would make her a hypocrite. She was happy that Henry had accepted it though. He shrugged it off and she smiled at him. Of course then Henry had to go and ruin it by bringing up her crying again.

She scowled before stepping closer to him. "You volunteering?" She kept a serious face for all of a few seconds before she cracked a smirk and sidled up next to him, bumping him playfully with her shoulder before looking to Tetradore. Sure that they weren't going to let it go, she heaved a sigh and averted her gaze. "I ran into my former alpha. That look of betrayal on his face...it just got to me. I've been with him since I was a pup. He wanted to be my mate, you know. I just...couldn't accept him. He was everything a female should want in a mate but...he just wasn't for me. I guess somewhere deep inside, I must have always known I wasn't just a coyote." She shrugged before looking back up at them. "So...what are you two up to tonight? Roaring at moons? Chasing your tails? Batting around yarn balls?"
