South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

we built this city on broken glass

His footsteps were near silent as he led the way from the road and into the depths of the forest lands that littered the edge of the city. That spot he had in mind was decently concealed and yet still used largely by Hunters and Vampires alike, arguably the braver of the varying species of the city, to cut that walk through Hyde Park short. All they needed was one Hunter to wander through tonight to put Malia's plan into effect. Frost wholly content to see what hi pack mate was capable off, the stallion content to assist her when needed and with concealing their true identities and yet, tonight, he held every intention of allowing Malia to take the lead- so to speak- and put her plan into action. He had told her he would teach her those leadership skills in time, this merely the beginning of it. A chance to educate her while affording her a chance to show him how far her own skills had come since that day they had met. His hands tucked deeper into the pockets of his black jeans, Frost strolling along that well worn path to avoid the fallen leaves and frosted ground that threatened to crunch underfoot. Any Hunters would hardly smell them coming and yet hearing them was another matter, Frost angling his head behind him then to eye his subordinate and assure himself she was following suit before they pressed deeper into that forest and that small cleared area he was assured was a suitable location to test out the woman's plans.

"This should be the place. People pass through here in an effort to shorten their journey home. We may get vampires as well, under no circumstance do you engage a vampire, allow them to pass. Ideally they will not sense us if we do not give them a reason too. A hungry vampire is more threat than a Hunter in the dark. You should be able to smell a vampire easily. They smell dead. A hunter won't smell any different to a human but you should be able to feel the difference, like a static of sorts on your skin. We are born with an ability to detect them- so use it."

Those cool smooth words were as blunt and direct as always. Frost offering her that information she needed to know and little more, his violet gaze lingered upon her somewhere beneath that shock of white hair as he afforded the woman several moments to examine that area and better consider her own ideas. His arms folded easily across his chest, the man leaning nonchalantly on the nearest tree as his gaze shifted from Malia then to linger on that space before him. That war horse so considering several variations to that idea and those very faults it might prove to have. Yet, tonight, the planning was his companions own. Frost determined to afford her some level of trust as his attention returned to her. There was no better way to teach her about Hunters, no better way to make her understand their strength and skill then to allow her to engage one in an environment as controlled as he could make it. He had spent a lifetime with their very species, he knew them better than most and yet he was hardly foolish enough to allow such arrogance to guide his hand now. Frost more then prepared for that situation to go awry- if it did and yet he held a near equal faith in Malia in turn. In the least- he held faith in her determination to prove herself.

"I will allow you to catch and subdue the Hunter yourself- I will only help you if you require it. When it comes to questioning him or her, if they are not forthcoming with their answers, I can pluck most of them from their minds directly. You need only ask questions of them. I will also assure both our appearances are concealed with my illusion magic. Anyone who comes through here tonight will see us as a red-headed, green-eyed brother and sister. If you shift, your coyote form will look instead like a large hunting dog. Any further questions? I look forward to seeing what you can do."

His hand gestured easily towards that bush then, allowing Malia to choose where she might want them to hide and wait, Frosts features, as always, affording no true emotion in any sense as he followed the woman into the shadows and the trees to wait for that ever so unfortunate being to wander passed them.
