South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It had been foolish to hope that once Henry returned from his unexpected absence, that things could go back to normal. Sterling realized that now. It was disappointing that Henry could hardly even share a bed with him, much less be in the same apartment as him during those later hours. He hadn't made any sort of effort to bring up that physical intimacy their relationship now lacked, much less his own ever increasing shame and embarrassment and disgust over those scars that littered his one pristine frame. He'd looked into scar removal, he'd looked into covering them with tattoos and yet, at the end of the day, Sterling always found himself too upset by the whole ordeal to make a decision either way. It was a slow process to get himself back on his feet, both metaphorically and physically. His new job helped with forcing the man to move and yet he'd still avoided that physical therapy much in the same fashion he was avoiding so much - by just putting on a smile and pretending it didn't exist. Things with Henry were hardly any different then that.

Those somber thoughts, however, were interrupted by the soft touch of Henry's hand against his own, his fingers easily entangled within the man's as Sterling presented his boyfriend with that small grin. "It wasn't that bad." He insisted. It certainly hadn't been the worst he'd ever been given and, at least Henry tried, he appreciated that. The boy's insistence on cooking something edible brought a soft chuckle to his lips. "Maybe next time we can just get one of those frozen food bags you can throw on the stove." He jested, after all, those were near impossible to ruin, all you had to do was stick it in a pan till it was warm. He at least had faith in Henry's ability to do that. His own bright blue eyes turned upwards towards the moon, the man noting too just how close it looked to being full. He'd made an effort, since Henry had stepped back into his life, to keep track of that sphere much as the man beside him did, even if neither spoke of it at any great length. After all, though Sterling loved Henry, and though he wanted to ensure the man got the help he needed to feel comfortable within his own feline skin, the Warlock hardly had any great desire to be cornered by the feral panther anytime soon. At least, he mused, Henry had his pack to take care of him in ways he could not.
