South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It is never difficult for a Were to know who among their kind was of Alpha blood or not. It wasn't like the difference of blood was similar to the debate as if it were ketchup versus catchup. You either were born with Alpha blood and you weren't. Sadly there were some pitiful cases, like her, when their, Alpha blood, simply didn't exist or hold any value. If a Were was not surrounded by the support that was needed to allow the individual to believe that they were capable of taking whatever birthright that naturally belonged to them; then it could be well presumed that they no longer would be capable of holding the recognition any longer. No one within her childhood or after followed her, no one explained or taught her whatever lessons needed to be given to ensure her that she could carry such a role within a pack. The scarred lupine was beaten into submission, given no sort of encouragement of any kind and so, she would most likely never unlock whatever invisible sign that stated she was a creature that was allowed to lead. She was a follower and she was far more comfortable to stay that way, especially when another near her held that wave of authority. It was difficult for her to follow quietly beside the WerePanther, keeping her distance at a comfortable space, but keeping herself a few inches back allowing him to lead in the direction she wished to go. The only time she would break this unwritten rule, was when an innocent zoo employee decided to open their door and shriek. Luckily her nose led her to another room with a few options of different cages to open up to lead to their escape.

Though now they were in the dark and while he continued to stalk the remaining side of the hallway, the scarred she-wolf remained fixated on the oddly rolled up creatures, making a perfect ball. It was a hindrance in the mind of a canine to have the need to chase anything that resembled the shape of a sphere. However, her slate gaze would shift from the odd creatures back to the WerePanther, taking a step backwards as he began to approach in her general direction. Tilting her head to the side she watched with curiosity as his mouth began to encase the bars, one grey ear twitched in his direction as she heard some sort of sizzling sound. Her nostrils caught the acidic scent and she couldn't help but attempt to hold her breath until she saw the bars slowly drop to the ground. Flinching at the sound of the bars clanking to the ground, her head would whip around sharply, both ears pointed in the direction of the swinging doors. She could not hear the sound of the zoo employees running, but she knew full well that the noise from the bars could have produced a loud enough sound to get that group to come this way. Puzzled as to why he would step aside, her oddly marked frame would lower to the ground as she easily slid her way through the damaged bars. Once Tetradore would follow after her he could easily catch the strong scent of Tobias, and a milder less heavier scent of Nadya. It is true, she had spent some time with his Sister, but it was Tobi she was constantly around in one way or another. It was an odd habit of his to simply rub his spotted frame against her own, accepting this quirk and saying nothing else about it, refraining from questioning why he dared to think she had to smell like him in order to claim she was his. It was a tiring argument that she wished to take no part in anymore, allowing the boy to simply believe what he wanted.

Reaching the other side the lupine would instantly head towards the balled up critters, unfamiliar with just what they were. Lowering her muzzle towards the closest one, a grey paw would gently poke at the creature her tail swaying side to side as she noticed its rolled up body would move. Taking in delight with this discovery she would swat at it, her head lifting up as she watched the armadillo roll straight towards the WerePanther, stopping its rolling movement right in front of him. Slightly embarrassed her fluffy tail would lower and curl around her back leg, her dial lowered in a timid way. Shyly her voice would gently touch his as she shifted her eyes from him and the armadillo to the ground.

"I'm sorry."

Raven was well aware that right now this was not to time to play with such fascinating creatures that could wind themselves up in a ball, but how could she resist? Attempting to keep her focus on the task at hand, she would turn her head quickly aware from the WerePanther looking up at the large trees and rock formations that trimmed the outdoor exhbit. Her attention on ways to escape the exhbit and enter the inside of the zoo was taken away, when she noticed out of the corner of her eye a few more armadillos starting to roll up in a ball at the presence of new predators. Her gaze would shift to the odd balled up creatures, then to the trees and rocks, and back towards the WerePanther, waiting. She was waiting to see just what his plan was. Perhaps he wanted to try to sink his teeth and melt the glass wall that enclosed the animals, but gave zoo visitors access to see them. Or maybe...just maybe he might want to play a tiny game with these...intriguing critters.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
