South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Falling Into My Condition

His hand fell away from his lips, carrying the flask with it. He took in a deep breath as his blue eyes landed on a large dark wolf. It was far too large and unusual to have been any kind of normal animal, this had to be a Were. He watched on quietly, it was apparent that the large creature was struggling. Catching sight of the blonde, the wolf spun its head towards him with a growl. His eyes zeroed in, noticing the beast had a muzzle around its snout, holding back pearly whites that where sent to intimidate him. He looked up past the wolf, checking to see if there was anyone close by following her. His first thoughts rested on a nearby Hunter, but a Hunter wouldn't have trapped her that way; they go in for the kill. This was different, someone or something was out there to capture the four legged beast.

He leaned back against the tree; there wasn't much of a threat from the wolf and there was so far no sign of someone coming after her from behind. He pulled the flask back up to his lips, taking in another long sip of whiskey. Drawing the flask away he screwed the cap back on it and wiggled it into one of the back pockets to his dark jeans. Blues kept the wolf closely in their sights; there was something else wrong with it, past the restraint of the muzzle. If it hadn't have been so incapacitated, the Vampire may have been in quite a bit of trouble. He sat up, moving slowly to his pull his feet from underneath him and eventually rising up to stand. "Need some help?" He kept his voice to a minimal pitch as he called out to the Were. He knew not all of them could understand their spoken tongue when they were in animal form, but it was worth a shot. He took a few steps towards the direction of the wolf, moving slowly and stopping when he sensed the wolf felt threatened. After all it was being hunted and was already unable to properly defend against a threat; those were always bad odds for a Were when meeting a Vampire.

As he neared the wolf, he stopped, waiting to check the reaction from the beast before proceeding. He lowered himself to the ground, crouching down and keeping his eyes away from making direct contact with the beasts. He tried not to make himself seem as a threat; he could sympathize with the wolf, being hunted sucked but being hunted and captured was far worse. Worse than that was not being able to defend yourself, which this Were had all those problems going on for itself. "It's okay killer." His words came out in an almost soothing tone, again he wasn't even quite sure if the wolf could understand him and it was darn sure he couldn't understand the wolf, past what he could evaluate about its situation.

His head snapped as he looked up past the beast. Far off there were voices in the woods; men shouting to each other. For now they remained far enough away from the Were; but they could be closing in on her soon. There was no way the wolf would be able to defend against them; and for humans to take this Were down, they must have had several advantages over her. Slowly he reached around to his back pocket, fingers wrapping around the flask he'd put back there. Drawing it up to his lips, his head titled back as the warm nectar rushed down his throat. This was going to be a long night.

I sold my soul... just so I could feel paid.
I broke my heart... so I couldn't feel pain.
I lost my faith... 'cause I can't justify the weight.
I've got no hope... that's only for losers and fakes.
