South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya was thoroughly pleased in the increasingly warmer weather. Whether in feline or human form, she basked beneath the warm rays of the sun whenever possible. The better weather made hunting far more pleasant as well. Now with their little pack back together she was making more trips out to hunt. She knew Scarlett would have happily accompanied her but having the trustworthy pair of hands to watch the twins was just as helpful; leaving the twins alone with Frost was still not something she wanted to subject him to.

The ebony jaguar slowly peeled herself from the rock she had been basking upon. The warmth had made her sluggish and not wishing to spend much energy chasing after prey. It had been some time since they had had fish as the waters had finally melted from the winter frost; so it was with this in mind that the feline slowly wandered down the forest path towards the stream. The forest had been relatively empty from others of her kind, perhaps still vacationing elsewhere from winter, or they had found other places to congregate. Then again, as a scent from upwind caught her sensitive nose, maybe it was hunters who were driving them out. Her own encounter with them months ago had changed something in her. Before, Nadya would have simply skirted around the scent or gone home, but now it made her bristle and a hardened edge take over in her eyes. There was no way she was letting this hunter out of the forest alive.

Stalking was exactly what her feline form was built for, picking silently along the underbrush as she followed the scent upwind. As the scent became stronger and stronger her footfalls became slower, nearly like a chameleon as she pressed into the bushes. Beyond the edge of bushes there was a few feet of clearing, this space which screamed to her senses was the source of the scent...yet there was no hunter. Amber eyes blinked in confusion from the panther's hiding place within the bush. Surely she wasn't imagining the scent? Perhaps they were camouflaged. This prospect irritated the woman further. Determined to flush the individual out, Nadya allowed her explosive ability to unleash at a tree opposite, the loud crack of the trunk piercing the serene forest as debris flew in all directions. For all the hunter's hiding, they could not hide the fact of debris bouncing off their solid form. It gave away all that Nadya needed to pounce, hindquarters releasing like sprung coils to launch her large frame at the once elusive hunter.

Nadya's solid form collided with the now equally solid hunter, claws extended and slashing into whatever unprotected flesh as the pair tumbled to the earth. There was hardly time between them landing and her leaping back off in the direction of the stream. She counted on the hunter's anger to follow her and draw him further out into the open. It wasn't until she broke through to the edge of the stream did a large white form catch her attention in the corner of her eye. Was that a polar bear?! Since when are there polar bears?! The panther was briefly distracted before the noise of the hunter snapped her attention back to the confrontation at hand. The practice she had done with her abilities allowed her to create an unseen gravity shield in front of her in the direction of the hunter. Her entire body was braced in wait for the hunter's move, tail thrashing and jaws parted in a rumble.

"Are you just going to stand there?" Suddenly her thoughts reached for the other Were but a few yards from the scene. The glance of her eyes in the polar bear's direction indicating she was well aware of what he was.
