South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

we built this city on broken glass

He could sense those thoughts that turned inside Nadya's head once more. Each consideration tumbling over itself and into the next as his girlfriend peered around that entirely empty room that sported little more than that bed in the corner and those hooks for hanging clothing on. That shift overcame him easily. That draft horse replaced with his own far more lithe, human figure before he reached for his clothing and Nadya in turn. Frost allowing his arms to wrap about her in that rarely seen affection as he drew her close. For once, he hardly chose to offer any answers to those questions she had hardly spoken and yet considered all the same. The stallion rather assured she would take little pleasure in the answers and indeed in this he was content to offer some respect for the privacy of her thoughts. Frost instead so merely chose to offer that single insistence that much of what she might see for the rest of tonight at least might well be...unpleasant to her, or in the least, unanticipated. Nadya's sense of justice was decidedly strong. She cared, deeply so, when it came to women and children especially. After all, she was a Mother herself. Mothers seemed to find a camaraderie of sorts by merely existing within the same place and indeed there were few women closer than those whom made up the main herd of the horses here. Yet for all Nadya's veritable sense of right and wrong he sought to remind her in turn that many of the women here, indeed many of the men in turn were....oblivious to the outside world. They were uneducated in every possible way and as such she would simply need take care of just what she said and how. After all, her words were likely to confuse them or at worst, frighten them if she spoke to readily of an outside world. It would hardly take much to make them wary or fearful off her even when he knew so readily she had only their best interests at heart. Sometimes those very interests might prove...conflicting. At least in this place. Frost himself decidedly well aware of the difficulties of fleeing one world only to enter another even if he rarely spoke of those struggles.

Whatever words Nadya had been about to offer were cut short by the sound of another at the door. Frost stepping gently away from Nadya then. After all, those very embraces shared between them, in this place, would be seen as decidedly....inappropriate on far more levels then one. Frost already aware that he was the one and only man within this enclosure at all. A fact they would need keep hidden from any Hunters patrolling those gates. Such considerations for now however were quickly forgotten in the wake of Gaeska near being tossed aside by the small, dark haired woman whom all but burst through that door, her blue eyes welling with tears as she threw threw her arms around him. Frost, for the first time in so desperately long, allowed his own arms to embrace her in turn. The snowy-haired man holding his mother to him. That emotion tugged readily at him far more rawly then he had anticipated. Frost holding her more firmly. The scent of her alone was just as he had remembered. God it had been so long. Frost refusing to allow those emotions to find his features entirely even if, for just a moment, Nadya alone might well have seen that effort to blink back that sting in his eyes. Frost slowly releasing his Mother then if only to gesture toward Nadya. That very...nervousness that seemed to taint his often confident girlfriend readily prompting that raise of his eyes. Was Nadya nervous off his Mother? Then again, he supposed, he had held reservation in turn over meeting Nadya's parents. Particularly her Father. Perhaps meeting Mothers held the same nervousness for Nadya in turn.

Katrin's gaze shifted readily from her son to Nadya and back once more. Several Icelandic words parting her lips then as Frost's head merely shook. Katrin's hands both suddenly thrown upward before that rather loud....shouting started. Frost's own eyes rolled before those words left his lips quickly in turn. That argument delivered in that speedy Icelandic surely far to fast for poor Nadya to follow as Mother and son quite clearly took to arguing over something Frost gesturing suddenly to Nadya once more before that shouting from Katrin and that raised voice from Frost halted as abruptly as it had started. Katrin reaching eagerly for the hand Nadya held outward to hold it warmly in her own. The older woman so suddenly offering those perfectly fluent English words.

"Rikarour did not tell me he had brought a mate and here I meet you and my hair is like this and my eyes are like this and I am dressed like this. I told him off."

That this had been what the argument was over, Katrin's fear that she did not look her best for Nadya, was perhaps strikingly clear in that moment. That soft chuckle echoing from Frost in turn as Katrin drew Nadya forward to embrace her in that gentle hug. That emotion so clearly touching the older woman once more.

"Mother, please."

Katrin's hand waved readily at Frost in that effort to silence him, Frost's own eyes rolling again and yet he offered nothing further as Katrin drew back from Nadya then, her blue eyes resting upon her all the same. That warm smile so firmly in place. "All my life I hoped he would meet someone. I never thought I might get to meet her. She is too pretty for you, Rixon..." Katrin turned readily back toward Frost then. That english version off his name, he suspected, the first Nadya might well have ever heard and yet that insistence Nadya was out off his league only prompted that shake off his head. That amusement touching his features all the same.

"You have no faith in me, Mother."

Katrin's attention returned readily to Nadya then, the elder woman reaching to gently catch a strand of Nadya's newly blonded hair between her fingers. That simper finding her lips yet again. "Ah, but this was clever, what color is your hair really? Do you have children off your own?" These things, it seemed were important to the older woman. Her gaze drifting near hopefully between Frost and Nadya in turn.

"Nadya has two children from a previous relationship. Twins. I'm sure she has pictures on her phone."

He assured her simply. Katrin readily seeming to brighten at the idea before the sudden sound of a bell seemed to echo within the air. It had been so, so long since he had heard that sound. Katrin glancing worriedly toward him in turn. "You will have to stay here Rikarour, if they find you here..." Frosts own head simply shook. That touch of a simper finding his lips then.

"My powers have grown since I have been outside. I can hide myself in plain sight. Disguising myself as a girl should not be too difficult. Will they spot Nadya?"

"Not with her hair like that, she will blend in easily. They will hardly notice one new face among a sea of hundreds. I am so glad to meet you, Nadya. I have so many questions about you. Rikarour, I have missed you so, so much."

"I missed you too."

He uttered softly. Mother and son content to exchange that glance for a moment before the sound of that bell echoed again. Nadya undoubtedly confused by that sound.

"It is the dinner bell, Naja. We might as well make the most of a meal. We will stay here tonight, I will go over my plans with you both and come tomorrow we will put them into place. As for here and now, you're both going to have to pretend I am a girl. You two will see me as I look now, everyone else will merely see me as a very blond girl. The Hunters would spot a man here very quickly and we don't need that."

Allowing that affinity for illusion to embrace him was hardly difficult, Frost content to lead the way out of the door then and back outside to join the rest of the crowd making their way up towards that large center building that acted as a dining hall. Frost content to linger close to Nadya and his Mother in turn, his fingers lightly brushing Nadya's arm then to draw her attention.

"There will be five or six hunters here, just pay them no attention, follow the crowd. How do you feel about oatmeal?"
