South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Clearly the man hardly understood just what strangers thought of him, let alone their own peers. Within the West many of their own kind understood that he simply wasn't like anyone else. He was extremely influenced by his leopard side, but it was mixed with his more unpredictable half too. The combination was a bit potent and dangerous, depending upon whether or not you were on his good side or bad side. A lot of other Weres were still uncertain about him, attempting to stay away from him, or at least try and not agitate him. It was easy for their kind to simply blame it on his animal half, but when it came to complete strangers they just couldn't understand. It pained her whenever they went out in public, to hear their criticism about her chosen mate. She had heard it all. He was a menace to society. He needed to be 'put away.' At times they would be asked to leave if he was a bit too high-spirited and didn't condone himself in an acceptable way. When she would try to explain or come to his defense they would silence her with their cold stares, and threat to call the police. Raven wished she had the opportunity to explain why he was as he was, maybe they would be a little bit understanding. What they whispered about him were things she heard from her own pack, and no one came to her defense. Evidently, he couldn't see there was a chance their child could be an unruly nuisance. What with her feralness and his...tendencies, the world was not prepared...at all. With an amused laugh she shrugged her shoulders not truly believing his chiding words.

"Did you know Dorian is very religious? I wouldn't be surprised if he attempted to baptize our child with holy water from the Vatican, and when that holy water touches our child and it howls and cries out, I will give you a 'I told you so' look."

Assured she won this argument she focused back on the road. When he looked at her again she noticed how his eyes went to her stomach. A small simper appeared on her lips entertained by his look of concern. If he was looking at her like this now she couldn't imagine just how she would be once she told him. Just the very idea that she could possibly carry a child of their very own still seemed impossible. When she was pregnant, she would make sure that he was involved with raising their child. Like any new Mother she might be hesitant with his presence, with anyone's presence, but she would be grateful for the help. After all raising a child was something they had to do together, it wasn't something that she could be able to do on her own. Reaching the top of the hill and climbing out of the car to look at the scenery, the lupine was quite content with simply being there, truly alone. Agreeing to his idea of having lunch she joined him on the blanket, taking a sandwich for her own. Seeing him uncomfortable sitting crossed-legged she resolved this issue by pulling his legs out and leaning her back against his chest. Answering his questions about dancing she brought up the tango, a type of dance she had heard of before. Her attempt at describing the dance may have been misheard, as it was possibly her fault. Shaking her head she attempted to explain herself further.

"Well, I mean it's like a sensual dance, you express romance and apparently the moves are sort of intimate or something like that."

Reaching over his leg for an apple she bit into it chewing it thoughtful as he inquired whether or not she would be able to seduce him with his dance. With a disapproving snot, she turned her head and rolled her eyes in response. Like she could even seduce him! During her Bachelorette party, the girls attempted to try and educate her on the art of seducing. Asking her questions she thought was far too intimate to speak about even amongst friend. She was absolutely flabbergasted when they informed her on what she could try to do with her husband. When they brought out those more intimate attire her cheeks with a deep red, and she covered her hands with her eyes, exclaiming they were all absolutely crazy. If she had grown and had a normal life, maybe she would have learned the art of flirting with whatever first boyfriend she had. Whenever she tried to be more engaging with such activities, her mate she felt absolutely foolish and stupid. So, the very thought of her ability to seduce him, with a dance a sex dance for that matter, was surely a laughing matter. Shaking her head she admitted to her failure at her lack of ability for her more womanly ways.

"I'm not sure if I am even capable of seducing you. Being all flirtatious isn't something I know how to do very well. I mean the girls were trying to teach me one night and they had this look of defeat when I didn't catch on."

Turning herself back around, she settled herself against his chest, bringing that apple up for another bite. Her suggestion of running around in their animal form was answered with a positive response. Although his suggestion of running around during the day would be far wiser than at night. It wasn't surprising that the animals would be more active at night. It seemed like a difficult thing to try and hunt some of the prey during the day, when they could see you on such a flat land. Not every area had very tall grass to hide in. With a teasing smirk, she replied quite cheekily.

"And here I thought you wanted to live on the wild side of things."

His other-half would surely enjoy running around at night more than the day. His feline form loved to take naps during the day and he was far too active at night to settle down. It was very sweet though that her mate was concerned for their safety when it came to dealing with the animals around here. Even though they saw some of these species as Weres at home or engaged them in the fighting ring at the Ark, their wild counterparts would not be the same. It must be nice for him to finally be able to do as he pleased. The last time she saw him like this was the day after he proposed to her, and it had been such a long time ago. One eye-brow rose in speculation when he asked if she could drive. Nodding she kept her focus on the scenery in front of them as she continued to take her last few bites of the apple.

"Yes, I can drive although you usually say I don't drive well. I don't drive like a bat outta hell. Don't get me wrong I like to go fast, but I'd also like not getting pulled over by the cops. You sure you don't want to continue to drive? You should enjoy the time you have being in charge, do what you want to do."
