South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Her stormy eyes stared intently at the doll like object upon her lap, gingerly the girl reached out to brush what would have been the dolls cheek if he was more refined then a simple perfect sphere for a head. She had worked hard on the thing, on the careful handmade craft. It hadn't been easy and the longer the young witch sat there beneath the sanctuary of her tree in silence, the longer she contemplated the rather inevitable fail of this spell too. A soft sigh left her lips as a frown settled on her fair facade. She was about to chalk this up to another failed attempt when movement not far from her position captured the young woman's attention - leaving her quite literally breathless. For a moment she tentatively crept forward, hardly daring to leave her designated hiding place. It was far too coincidental to not be her doing - right? Her head tilted to the side as she watched him pull something from his foot, her grey eyes intently settled upon him. She watched him slowly stand, a grin tracing his features as he slowly stepped forward, his fingertips interlacing with the waving vines of her tree. Instantly Serafina recoiled, scooting back so that her spine was against the trunk.

For a brief moment Serafina found herself expecting the worse. She knew that she had made an incredible risk at calling a Dark Hunter of all creatures and yet, still she'd gone through with it for a reason even she couldn't quite fathom. Her stormy gaze met his, unwilling to break the silence between the two of them. It was a precarious moment, of that even she knew all too well. The spell however, was quite literally shattered by the sound of his voice and briefly the young girl glanced down to the doll within her lap. "I'll make the next one more like you." She retorted simply enough, willing to admit that her first effort was hardly flawless by any means. She should have known from the beginning that things would not go quite like she had hoped they might. His velvety voice certainly seemed to confirm that and though she should have been afraid of him, though her instincts told her to be, she quite startlingly was not. Another sigh fell from the girl's lips and slowly she dragged her knees up to her chest, the doll safely resting against her bosom.

It was a very precarious position she was placed in - faced with giving up her first magical success in forever or to reveal to him the truth of her life. For a long moment the girl let the silence linger between them, her chin resting upon her knees. "You know...I've been a witch for a very long time...but no matter what we try, I seem to have absolutely no magical affinity. Do you know what that's like? Well...I mean of course you don't but...it'd be like finding a hunter who just can't hunt. It's a disgrace." A soft laugh left the girl's lips, her gaze suddenly intently interested in the ground beneath her. "Calling you here is the first spell I've ever done...maybe it's the only one I can do. I suppose I don't mind too much though, if it is, I did kind of want to see you again." There was hesitance within her admittance as the young woman shifted beneath his gaze. For so much of her life she was confined only to the world her mentor had defined acceptable for her. Men were foreign to her in such an intimate aspect - her experience restricted only to helping them find whatever they searched for within her store. She crushed on them childishly, knowing they would never be hers to have. "Well - was that satisfactory or do you still intend to impale me?" Serafina inquired, her stormy eyes suddenly glancing up at him, fearless even within the face of her own death.
