South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The she-wolf was quite content with staying in the cool stream. Blue-grey gaze was focused on the water, searching for that familiar silver sheen to glisten through, evidence that there was a tasty fish near her. Her tail would sway side to side when she found on swimming up between her paws. Happily she would dunk her head into the water, jaws parted, as her teeth sunk into the slimy sucker. Yanking her head free from the current she would shake her head side to side as the fish wiggled and smacked the side of her face. Tossing her head back she would allow the fish to fly before opening her jaws and allowing the fish to settle in her mouth as she chomped away. Ebony skull would tilt to the side as the ebony tiger settled in the waters. One grey-ear twitched as she heard the girl speak in her mind snorting softly. That phrase about her smelling better was the exact same thing Tobias had always spoken to her as soon as his scent was the dominant one.

While Regan was leaving the stream the she-wolf would continue fishing, enjoying her catches, not wanting to bother the tigeress Raven did not mind the silence between the two. It was not awkward. It was...comfortable. Neither of them knew much about one another, but based on their actions, their easily distrust of others, and the scars that were etched into their skin and pelt...they shared something. Yet like Raven's relationship with Alexis, nothing was ever spoken about them, for Alexis had gone through a heavy ordeal as well. In some ways it was good to not discuss such things, but sometimes it was best to air them out...and not let the past haunt you. For Raven that was a difficult thing, unable to truly talk to someone about her past, let alone be willing to do such a thing to another. Tobias knew some. He asked and he was so very different from the rest that she knew she could trust him with such hallowed information.

Smartly shaped head would turn in the big cat's direction as she gave a definitive nod. She understood what Regan had meant. This place was far better than what she used to have when she lived with her pack, before she went feral and killed them. In all her life she hadn't felt so...positive before. Here in this place she was growing, learning, and adapting to being around others. Trust was such a valuable thing to her and she had no idea how to give that sacred thing to others...but she was trying with a certain few. Quietly she would move out of the stream, her bones popping as she shrunk down to her normal size. Grey splashed banner swayed side to side easily as she stepped a bit closer to the tiger before settling down and lying on her stomach just a few feet away, wanting to give Regan and herself some comfortable space. Softly her gentle voice would ease into the tiger's their connection a bit smoother than before.

"It feels like...freedom. I feel like I'm alive here...like the past never happened. I just feel good...like maybe I am happy? Maybe Sacrosanct will grow on you?"

Raven was not the type to kiss and tell. She kept certain topics to herself and only delved into them when the proper question was asked.

"talks like this"
Raven
