South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

If I were a simple man

Little angel go away, come again some other day.
The devil has my ear today.

As the bar was less than jam-packed, the men's conversation was easily heard by one another. Combining their alcohol, previous evening activities, and current amused state of mind brought out a generally amused lilt to the atmosphere, regardless of the drunk baffoons diddling themselves around the bar. Instead of paying attention to the dwindling crowd of patrons, the female bartender kept her gaze keenly trained on the warlock and vampire in front of her. She clearly liked their attention, even if it was only because the men wanted their drinks and the company of their newly found relationship. With a flick of her hair and a flouncing step, the woman winked at Davante's request for scotch and even giggled accordingly at Damon's statement that suggested Davante exude a certain charm in order for prompt service. The pair of female bartenders stood together once they were served, clearly focusing their gaze on the men as well as their conversation. Although inaudible, Davante shook his head with a brief snort of amusement.

"Well I am game to stick a needle in your arm and try whenever you are," He quipped, the humor contained in his words. The sound of Damon's laugh spurred another look to the bartender, Davante's gaze smoldering and dark as he raised his eyes to look at them through his lashes. It was a stare that generally had women melt, but instead of truly wanting their attention or focusing on their efforts, Damon was a much more worthy receiver. "I am beginning to believe my functionality as an individual was severely limited before our success earlier this evening," He replied, feigning incompetence.

At the mention of a "game", Davante couldn't help but laugh. What was his game of choice? Pin the tail on the vampire, or the were for that matter. Davante had always enjoyed card games, playing all kinds of them during his time in Africa. His family had little ability to afford anything else, so cards became a serious pastime. But in a bar? Davante often had little patience for things that didn't exert the impatient energy he often harbored, but darts and pool were both favored. Darts required concentration, but with his affinity for throwing knives and a handful of other sharply pointed weapons, Davante preferred the game. Besides, there were enough ... Individuals in the place that he nearly suggested using real targets. It wasn't like that had never happened before, why keep the fun out of it?

"In fact, I have multiple talents beside violence and drinking. I'll have you know I am expert at human-herding, and throwing things with sharp points at moving targets. I'll settle for tame darts, though," Davante mused, debating suggesting creating an illusion that made the bar already at closing time, and bringing in "dinner" for Damon so they could practice with something a little more extracurricular. However, maybe they'd save that for another day when there was a job to do and both wanted to exert some kind of torture.

Who said tame darts couldn't be fun, though? Especially with extraordinarily special rules.
