South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Fear. Fear was the thing that help separate the ones that were fighters and the ones that simply couldn't stand a chance. It was also the thing that drew the fine line between predator and prey. It was a feeling that could simply overwhelm you and cause the body and mind to go in a state of shock, making the individual powerless. Yet it could also be the small strength an individual needed to keep going. Without Fear you wouldn't be human...without Fear you wouldn't know the difference between flight or fight. Every type of creature was hardwired for such a thing and for a Were it was simply intensified. Seeing Isolt at a clear disadvantage only caused the lupine's lope through the park to increase. Black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp fangs as each grey paw pounded the earth like thunder. With a low snarl her teeth sunk into the flesh of one wolf ignoring its sharp cries as she tossed her head and letting it fall to the ground. Thick strips of shadows began to hover over the wet cold terrain wrapping and coiling itself protectively around the fledging vampire. It would seem that tonight the lupine was not experience fear as the need to escape. Rather she was allowing her fear of Isolt's safety be the sole drive to protect the woman from being harmed by her cousin Pack. Pressing into Isolt's unbreakable frame, the she-wolf felt comforted feeling the heavy iced figure, thankful to be so close to her in this moment. Grey hackles rose as her skull turned left and right snapping in the air, blue-grey eyes glaring at the golden ones that held hatred in their gaze. An unseen sign was given and the standstill was ruined as two wolves led the charge. Bracing herself the gigantic canine pounced and sunk its teeth in the back of her kin, shaking her head back and forth until the body went limp, dropping it unceremoniously to the ground. As Isolt helped keep a wolf from attacking her the larger canine moved quickly around attacking what wolf she could see, ignoring the sharp pains that came to her legs or side when one wolf after the other managed to claw or sink their teeth into her flesh. Turning around and ripping those intruders off her eyes noticed a familiar looking blonde moving through the chaos and shadows with a steely sense of calm with a long heavy looking Bo Staff in his hands as he stalked towards the vampire. Slamming on her front legs in the ground she bolted towards the vampire, wanting to keep her cousin from slamming his staff into Isolt. Whether he was successful in slamming the Bo Staff into her back or skull, or the poor fledging mistook her step, or she slipped on a wolf, simply could not be said, but the she-wolf saw the red-head go down to the ground.

"Isolt..."

Barreling towards the fallen vampire her muzzle would shove roughly into the vampire letting out a whimper as she frantically searched for the problem. Yet she could assess whatever the reason why Isolt fell because she felt something sharp and painful be buried into her side. Maneuvering her paws over Isolt the lupine stood over the girl, protectively as her head lowered at the same level of her blonde cousin that seemed to carry a sinister simper. His German dialect did not leave out what sadistic joy he seemed to have while some members of his group laid dead or wounded, others running away, and the few that tightened the circle around the trio.

"You should have stayed out of the way...Murder...that was for your bloodsucker friend. We're here to finish you off for the crimes you committed."

Keeping her massive form above Isolt the shadows continued to overlap the vampire keeping her protected and hidden from the others. For a moment the injured she-wolf turned her head around to see where the pain was coming from and there sunk perfectly through her side, just barely above to stomach where a rib was she gave out a heated snarl attempting to ignore the searing pain she was in. For a brief moment her head would lower again, cold nose feeling for the vampire trying to make sure the girl was safe on the ground as her grey ears folded back tightly against her skull in an apologetic manner.

"I...I didn't mean to, I'm sorry."

The blonde would take a tentative step forward towards Raven as he shook his head, waving for the few wolves that remained to step closer.

"Sorry won't bring them back."

While the other Weres began to enclose on the trio Raven couldn't help but silently beg for Isolt's help and hope that she was simply okay. The young girl was sure if she could just get Isolt out of harms way then perhaps she could make an attempt to escape and finally be free of her cousin and his desire to punish her further. Wincing as she stepped in place for a moment, testing how bad the injury to her side was, she turned her head snarling as she picked up the wolves that circled around them, keeping them in the air and ignoring their cries, using some sort of leverage to get what she wanted.

"Promise you won't harm her....then the others won't be harmed either."

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
