South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

GO AHEAD AND PLAY DEAD

Monolithic pads skim across the terrain with surprising stealth for a canine so large as I. My armor of sterling silver, laced over in a mottling of black and white brindled stripes, breaks up my outline against the forested backdrop and provides a rather pleasing camouflage. Though on this night, I have no desire to hide my presence, for tonight Weres ruled the Earth and roamed the forests to their heart's content.

Lady Luna was a fully fertile orb dangling in the heavens, paling the shine of her twinkling stars against a bed of velvety cobalt blue. The trees whispered hushed songs as the wind caressed their branches and flirted with tendrils of my coat, and I am given to track the scent of the reclusive she-wolf I'd met in the Warehouse District.

Her perfume filters through the air, the heavier musk of Tobias interlacing with her more delicate fragrance. The night was alive with the shrieks and howls of Were-beasts and it seems these two were as enraptured by the pull of the Moon as any.

Six foot long vessel cuts through the timbers like a silver blade, and as I draw closer to the leopard and wolf, the scents of other Weres becomes overwhelming to my sensitive nose. Through the trees I can make out the figures of Tobi and Raven, neither of which perceived as a threat more-so then an ally. Tobi was now a business partner... in a manner of speaking, and as I am given to witness the large cat tossing the rumpled bit of pig-skin and frolicking about the wolf I find myself grinning with a mischievous expression upon my face.

I Win... Birdie... too slow.. I hear the leopard say in reference to Raven, even as I keep to the shadows and circle around behind the very tree which Tobias has scampered about. His back is turned to me as I drop to a crouch, brindled plume waving excitedly as shoulders roll and haunches flex, and then I spring from the bracken with a sharp thunderous bark, aiming to tackle the leopard unawares.

If I am quick enough, I would grapple the large cat from behind and a little to the side, the inertia of my speed coupled with my hefty 215 lbs of bulk likely enough to send us both somersaulting across the ground.

"Surprise!" I chuckle resonantly, and if I succeed in pouncing upon the feline I would be given to add "Now I Win!" Jovially, before disengaging the cat to competitively make a dive for the deflated football before the leopard has time to retrieve the toy.

Massive paws trounce upon the deflated leather, jaws parting to clasp at he pig-skin and toss it high above my head before catching it again and running a fleet circle about the smaller she-wolf and casting her a lopsided grin and a wink before loping on, tassel swaying playfully as I growl daringly at the leopard to come after me.

I was a big brutish animal, given more to the role of dominance and alpha-ship... but even Alphas need to have a bit of fun Sometimes, right?
