South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

For some unknown reason Tobi hadn't been home at all. Why he was not here she didn't know, but when she tried to stay up all night for him she fell to sleep. Raven did not know why, but sleeping beside him caused all nightmares to not come to her- always she felt secure and safe knowing his warm form was by her side. Tonight, just like any night when she was alone, the curly haired woman was tossing and turning in the hammock. Raven could actually feel the pain that came when she felt the numerous fists make contact with her side as that familiar pain of ribs began to break from the force of another. Being weighed down and attacked by blurred faces she could not help, but cry out with fright yelling aloud for them blurs to stop hurting her. Waking up in cold sweat, after thrashing about in the hammock, she felt her body crash into the floor with a loud thump. With a groan she crawled out from underneath the hammock and got on her two feet, rubbing her sore head. Stumbling towards the porthole window she peered outside to the hidden dock hoping she would see his familiar form ad frowned when she saw the dock was empty. Well, not all the way empty. There was white powered stuff setting on the dock and boxes here and there. Curious, and not wanting to fall back to sleep to deal with another nightmare, she left the ship in her wolf form quietly padding on the small amount of snow that crushed under her paws. Winter. She was born to endure any sort of harsh winter storm. The thick fur protected her from all the elements including the rapid winds that could chill her bones. She was a creature built to overcome any sort of obstacle Mother Nature threw at her. Yet this creature was deprived from experiencing snow. Ice and sleet she knew too well, but never snow. Snow has always been an unfamiliar substance. Being in snowy weather was like a child fantasy- this fantasy long ago forgotten. Until today.

There wasn't much of snow to investigate along the docks. Grey paws stepped precariously down the dock, her lithe frame sliding every now and then when she felt the black ice under her paws. Finding some stacked boxes with traces of light snow she lifted her head, her muzzle tracing it. Puzzled her head would tilt to the side as she pawed at the snow seeing how it did not move due to it being coated with ice. Snorting softly a puff of her air settled in front of her as she tried to think of a place where there would be plenty of snow that hadn't been frozen over just yet. The only place she knew best was the outskirts and thankfully the West District wasn't too far from it. Being as careful as she possibly could be with the moon providing her enough light to keep away from the ice she headed in that direction eagerly. It was when she reached the outskirts did she begin to slow down as eyes widen at the winter wonderland scene before her. There was plenty of undisturbed snow that seemed to overwhelm the place. Filled with anticipation she tentatively pressed one grey paw into the deep snow, her paw sinking down with a loud satisfying crunch. A muffled bark of surprise left her muzzle as she pressed her other paw in the frozen powder. Splashed grey banner swayed side to side furiously as she lunged into the snow farther in barking with joy as she felt her entire form descend into the snow. Lifting her head high she would start jumping from once place to the next again and again in the virgin snow before running around in tight circles kicking the snow up and dancing around under the fallen snow so it could fall on her obsidian pelt. The peculiar marked lupine could not remember a time when she had felt so disconnected and free before.

Playing in the snow may seem childish, but she had never been able to embrace the juvenile part of herself. Should there be any onlookers witnessing such childlike behavior they would take notice of her lithe and nimble frame looking relaxed, a new bright spark in those steely eyes. Always she moved with a sort of stiffness and caution as if she would be attacked for moving incorrectly and yet here in this moment she felt unrestricted. It was no surprise that she eventually tired herself out her paw prints tracked all throughout the area her ebony and iron stained body would slam into the powdery cushion. Rolling back and forth on her back making a 'wolf-angel' her paws would wave in the air until she caught the sight of the moon and she simply went still. One pink tongue held out as she panted taking in deep breaths as she simply stared up at the grey clouds that had begun to hide the last bit of the moon, and with those clouds came the fall of snow. With a heavy sighed she watched in wonder as the unique snowflakes began to fall, resting and taking it all in, for once not minding the solitude her mind not thinking about her past or the struggle of her feelings about Nadya having Tobi's cubs. For once her mind was wiped clean.
