South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was just something about the cold dingy weather that seemed to bring out a much happier side from the lupine. The way the winter winds dug through her thick fur was oddly comforting. How the sun was hidden away by the thick ominous dark clouds. While others wanted to keep warm and stay indoors, curl up by a fire with something warm to eat and drink, she was much more inclined to enjoy the outdoors. This was her first season of snow. Who knew a blanket of white powder would make Raven feel so giddy and juvenile. It was completely rare that she continue this 'happy' streak. Perhaps for once in her life things seemed to be going good for her. Now that she was a member of a pack she was able to settle a long aching depthless pain in her soul. It was not natural for a wolf to not belong a part of a unit.

Wolves thrived on social interactions and without it a wolf could not function correctly. A lone wolf was not something to be proud of in the canine community, it was a disgrace to be such a thing. As the only wolf within the city you would think she wouldn't end up with a clowder, her new pack made up entirely of large wild cats. Not only did she feel like she finally belonged somewhere, but she was involved in a deeper connection with an aberrant leopard. It never occurred to her that she would finally be able to proclaim she was living 'the good life.' Sure she still had big problems, such as Nadya delivering her companion's cubs, to suffering Serafina's disappointment with her, and attempting to not ruin her new pack with her feral mind, but for now she wanted to focus on the good. While she still could.

As of now the oddly painted she-wolf was roaming around the edges Hyde Park. Her attention focused solely on her latest prey. Apparently there were still some rabbits left. Lately she hadn't been eating as much as she should. Most of her food and snacks went to her boyfriend's never ending stomach. So, in order to feed herself properly she needed to fix herself a meal. Rabbits were quick and they were by far the healthiest fast food to have. Blue-grey eyes narrowed on the familiar outline of the rabbit as it attempted to hop through the thick snow. Silently she followed the tasty morsel so very carefully. Each grey paw barely crunching down the snow and when the rabbit ducked its head down, for whatever stupid reason, Raven ran and pounced. With a low growl her jaw parted and slammed shut as her deadly sharp teeth enclosed on the small mammal. It wasn't long before the rabbit died. Lying down in the snow she would bring her fresh kill between her paws and begin the easy task of eating her food, in peace. Hardly aware that someone was lurking far too close to a feeding wolf.
