South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Typically in the park she would be in her wolf skin, a much preferable body to roam in, and yet today she didn't see the need for it. The previous night she got caught up in the fighting ring at the Ark and although she wanted nothing to do with it she found she was actually quite good at it. Sure it was mostly because she was allowing her instincts to take control, but it did make her feel much better. The girl had barely any self-confidence about herself and showing the patrons that night she was able to hold her on was satisfying. Even so that night she had learned something new about her companion. He believed in her. Whether he was saying that to reassure himself or her didn't matter, but the fact that he uttered those words was enough to coax a little bit of bravery from the timid wolf. Today however she felt she needed to get away from her furry other half, at least so she could remind herself that she needed a break. After all the last thing she wanted to do was turn feral and after working terribly hard not to she didn't want to risk it. Fighting in the ring with other Weres would surely be a trigger and should she have to enter the ring again she didn't want to chance it. The last thing she needed to happen was for the entire Ark to know about her dirty little secret.

Today she was happily sitting down underneath a tree with one of her many books in hand. Ever since she was accepted into Tetradores' pack she and Tobias had combined their two bedrooms. Since Tobias wanted the second largest room, right next door to their Alphas' she didn't mind Tobi wanting to stay put. Yet it was the wall between their rooms that Tobias did not like and so with his powerful and strong teeth, and magical stomach, he had managed to chew and clear out the entire wall. On her side of their room she had built a small bookcase that needed extra add on shelves, because she was accumulating her own library. Though as she was reading her book, content with the peace and quiet, for the past hour and a half she was hearing the hot dog stand bicker while some homeless looking woman begged for food. Blue-grey eyes would occasionally lift from the pages to the duo puzzled as to what was going on. A small simper appeared on her scarred face when her antics reminded her of the boy that was curled taking a cat nap in their hammock. Shaking her head her golden brown curls would cover part of her mauled face as she returned to the book at hand and when she heard another shout. Sighing softly she grabbed her bookmark and stuffed it in the pages as she snapped her book shut and slowly made her way towards the hot dog cart.

As she got closer she noticed the man swinging a pair of tongs at the woman. A frown would slowly creep on her face. Raven could not tolerate a male wanting to bring physical harm to another female. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock when the woman stole the bag of buns and started to run off. It was no surprise that the man would suddenly run after the woman, but what was shocking was that he left his cart unattended. Sighing softly she flipped open one of the doors and grabbed one of the already empty hot dog bun bags and grabbed a pair of spare tongs and began placing the cooked hot dogs in the bag. Eyeing the condiments she grabbed a handful of ketchup and mustard before closing the door and leaving the cart. Seeing the hot dog man heaving and breathing heavily on the ground, clearly unable to catch up to the woman, she shook her head quietly as she walked past him with the prize in hand. Clearly he needed to exercise or learn to give up a fight. Eventually she would find the woman resting underneath a massive tree with a bench with the hot dog buns. Making her way towards the girl she would extend the bag of hot dogs for the girl to take, a shy smile on her mauled face as her words tumbled out softly.

"You really can't have a hot dog...if you don't have the hot dog to go with those hot dog buns."
