South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The outskirts was supposed to be a safe place for any Were that wanted to shed their skin and become their other half. She had roamed as far as she could around the place, keeping tabs on old and new territory grounds. She was well aware that there was at least one pack filled with cats only, as was mentioned when she had met an assortment of different Weres, but there were others around. Other than the unclaimed spots within the Outskirts she would run around within the Warehouse district having fun in a completely new environment. It was better than being stuck within a house. Earlier that day she had started tearing apart everything out of the second floor, throwing out the trash, the broken floorboards and pieces of furniture she had destroyed when she was going through a terrible phase. Knowing she would be stuck in her own home for longer than necessary the next day she was willing to stretch her legs some to relieve the tension. Unlike the last time she ran without thought through the dark woods, she had learned her lesson that the outskirts was not a safe place for anyone. Dark Hunters set up multiple traps and she had been stupid enough to get herself in one. Luckily that particular Dark Hunter was diseased, she had caught the scent of primal desire for the fair-skinned Witch that was not dressed appropriately to go about flower picking in the woods at night. Why a Hunter, of any Species, was interested in mating with a Prey, of any Species, she didn't know, but she knew pretty damn well it was not called for. At least, that is what the animal mind's rational thought was.

The ebony wolf was walking quietly on the trail she had made for herself, making sure that no hidden traps were in her pathway should she want to blindly run. The last thing she wanted was to experience the sharp pain of a gin trap going through her paw. The gin trap was small, big enough for a smaller Were. If the gin trap was big enough for her larger species, well, she wouldn't be running on all fours now, now would she? Grey trimmed ears twitched when she heard the she sound of another Were, her head lifted upwards as she caught the scent of a male. Hackles rose as a very soft growl rumbled from her chest as she stood still for a moment. Blue-grey eyes scanned the grounds not seeing anything out of place. Knowing she was near the entrance of the outskirts she would continue heading that way until she noticed the diminutive figure of a feline approaching in an adjacent direction heading for the area of the woods she knew to be littered with traps. A very soft voice would brush her mind gently, holding a subtle warning tone.

"Careful...you don't want to go that way."

Even though this particular feline was a male she didn't feel threatened by him, as she had before the first night she had met him. He was small, small enough for her to devour, should she ever desire a craving to try the taste of Were. She would continue to walk towards him, her head lowered partly to show she wasn't being a threat and to keep her eyes near his own eye level. Both ears were pointed forward as she walked past him, heading for a certain section of grass that was not placed naturally in the ground. There was something odd about the soil, the grass misplaced and not shown in a proper manner. Finding a random stick on the ground she would swing her head, tossing the object towards the misplaced grass, when suddenly the ground moved and a loud metal sounding snap could be heard. Between the teeth of the gin, was the broken stick, if the WereSeveral hadn't been stopped by her, his paw may have replaced that stick. Swaying her bushy tail side to the side, her skull would tilt to the side as she turned her body to face him, just staring quietly.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
