South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

There are some things were persist through life - through reincarnations and life times upon life times. There are some things in which even countless amounts of years cannot tarnish. Some formations which the waters could not erode and some habits that even millenniums could not simply undo. This was especially true for conquerer. Though there were no world for him to take or cities for him to rule, the innate need to overcome still lay within the Dark Hunter. It wasn't particularly often when Alexander saw fit to draw upon the council. Far too many members of their kind were jaded - wish death sentences on those they gleamed "too powerful" in their species ranking. It mattered not the the tasks they did or the lives they lived. They were simply things to be subjugated and murdered. It might have been surprising to learn that Alexander, even in his younger days, had always been particularly respectful when it came to his enemies. He killed only what was necessary, accepted surrenders, and respected death rituals according to the religions of his victims. Even war could be civil, or so he had always thought and it had certainly caused it's fair share of admiration within his younger years. Now? He new just as well that now, many of the younger council members saw him nothing more as an old, lazy, useless member of their order, ignoring even what battle tactics he would occasionally offer. It certainly served to be aggravating at best.

It was the thoughts of these so called peers, a term in which Alexander used rather lightly, that saw a portfolio of paperwork upon his coffee shop counter early that morning. There had been three of them - so naively banishing their modern weapons as if the elder man had even the most minuscule fear of them. It was time to prove his worth, or so they said. It was time for the hunter to hunt or else they would ensure that everyone knew that what a pathetic thing he had become. Naturally, such blatant threats could hardly be ignored by the ancient and while he had been quick to put them in their place, Alexander was still left with the conundrum that the council required something of him - especially after his recent stunt to kill an old time enemy, regardless of the fact that he too had turned into a hunter of the demons. It was this in mind that was the sole reason the fallen King was outside in the breezy summer air entirely drenched in the onslaught that fell from the sky. Naturally the weather had to be miserable - perhaps only to mirror his rather agitated point of view on the whole affair.

Never the less, Alexander stood in the middle of the park, attempting to find some kind of shelter beneath a nearby oak. His old long sword still gleamed within the glimpses of moon light, it's tip resting gingerly in the soaked ground beneath him. A small frown pulled at his lips, the folder balancing open in his hand as he matched the picture with the young woman settled on a playscape some good feet away. He kept himself down wind of her and the ebony panther that stood in front of her to ensure neither smelt his scent. She was nothing more then a newly turned fairy. She was a no one. An unfortunate victim herself and yet for some reason the council wanted her dead. A soft huff left his lips as he closed the file in his hand and yet - Alexander didn't step towards the pair. He remained where he was, simply watching them, all the while his thoughts lingered upon the farce the Council had become.
