South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

For those few, single moments in time the stallion holds truly little care for the unfortunate human girl whom has become so unlucky as to be caught between the rather violent display taking place. It is a generation's old feud that neither man is willing to let go of now as hooves strike at the earth and the sickening sound of sledgehammer hooves colliding with flesh mingles with that ever so potent taint of salty, metallic blood as Frosts teeth find purchase on one striking foreleg of the other stallion until blood wells to the surface of the black pelted beast. Darius own teeth remain locked within Frost's man buried into the thickness of it though determinedly attempting to find the flesh beneath as the screams and roars continue. For a single moment the pale equine managed to find the gaze of the injured girl, willing her to move herself clear of the area. He had no true interest in harming her, though nor did he truly possess a desire to protect her should Darius make the little blonde human his target. For whatever reason however, Frost is content to keep the black stallions attention upon him, ripping away from him at last to near pivot in place, hind hooves slamming with audible force against the other males shoulder, sending him plunging after Frost once more.

Somewhere, he is aware of the girl's plea, her fragile form incapable of escaping Darius' hooves, the woman winded perhaps as she struggled to pull herself away and Frost attempted to hold the other stallions attention more fully upon him as both collide again in a truly violent display- offering the girl whatever chance he could to remove herself from the area and yet that is all the help he can muster in this moment as he steadily begins to gain the upper hand on the other, lighter horse. Darius is faster, more agile and yet at such close quarters Frost's weight and power are proving far more significant as the other male finally begins to yield. It is merely further misfortune perhaps, that the black horse dances back and back again, closer and closer to Calliel in his attempts to find ground once more, pushed further and further back by Frosts teeth until both equine are left facing each other, nostrils flared in desperate bids for air as a momentary peace seems to find them.

He has loathed this man for rather a long time, in both his human and equine form, Frosts gaze narrowed upon him still in ready disdain, momentarily....agitated at his lack of Alexander. For all the faults of the blonde Hunter he at least appeared to possess some skill with a spear- the sort that would have been entirely useful now as Darius seems to consider another assault. He has known Darius for years, has argued with him for nearly just as long, two Alpha's incapable of besting the other- though today at least, Frost had secured the upper hand, Darius wavering before suddenly seeming to tense for a final assault, both creatures lunging at the same time- until Darius simply disappeared. The other equine's ability for teleportation had forever been an agitating facet of his skills- Frost left lunging at nothing but air- or seemingly so, teeth connecting with the only thing left within his vicinity. Calliels shoulder.

His release of her is near instantaneous, the muted tones of Darius fading laughter as he evaporates entirely barely heard as the stallion shifts from beast to man once more, wincing slightly as his own injures begin to heal though for now he offers them no attention- hands reaching rapidly for the woman's shoulder, ignoring any protest she might have in that regard as he tugs at her sleeve, searching her skin rapidly for any sign the skin has been broken by his teeth.

"Shit."

It is very near a hiss between his teeth as he kneels beside her now, the faintest taints of blood welling to the surface of her skin, his teeth having managed to break it in several places though he had hardly intended it so. He had never bitten a human, even despite his agitation with them. He knows the power of his bite, of any Were-bite on a human, thumb brushing smoothly over her shoulder in an effort to wipe the blood away. How much was needed to force a transformation he had little true idea, surely a large wound then this, one hand running loosely back through his hair.

"I need you to get up."

There is little softness to his voice, the words more command then request, attempting to see how injured the girl might actually be though his concern for her health was limited, his mind far more transfixed by the wound on her shoulder and the burn of Darius' amused laughter in the back of his mind, anger seething within him once more though for now he masters that control again.

"Can you stand Calliel, or can you not. You....have a wound that needs attending to. Has your uncle spoken to you of bites inflicted by Were's or not? I need you to answer that."

His voice remains smooth, cold as it has always been and yet within it exists a note of something more, a concern of sorts he has never yet displayed. He cares little for others, truly, pity and forgiveness outside his capacity to truly master and yet he had held no intention of inflicting any sort of wound upon the little human girl.
