South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I'll love you for a thousand more....

The thing about cats was the tended to move in almost complete. But when the world around them was so peaceful and quiet, not even they could go completely undetected by wolf ears. It was the smallest sound, the faintest crunch of paw touching the earth that had brown ears flicking to attention. Even predators like Scarlett could not let their guard down, living in a world of predators meant one of them might consider you prey. Emerald eyes flashed open to see a large, black panther standing before her, tail lashing back and forth in a less than friendly manner.

The female's body language screamed dominance, but the whole thing just rolled off of Scarlett. She was a submissive, no threat the the female despite there being no rank to even challenge for in the free lands, but more importantly she could be considered an omega. Dominance really didn't affect her, she hardly felt the need to submit nor did she feel the need to challenge. She was simply a neutral being in a world that was always fighting for more power. On top of that, she had never been in a pack and was bitten, not born, therefore hierarchy and birth status meant little to her.

She offers the feline a lopsided, wolf grin, tail swishing back and forth but not like the cat's, her's held nothing but friendly intentions behind it. "Are you lost?" the cat says, pulling the link that all were creatures shared in order to speak to one another through their minds. Scarlett's head rose, but that was all the creme and brown wolf did. She remained relaxed, for why should she not be? If the other female had wanted to hurt her, she would have done it already and the malicious intent would have been present in her words. Plus, Scarlett was more than confident she could hold her own against the cat in a fight should things head that way.

"You could say that," the young girl replies, her voice holding a sweetness to it that rarely ever faltered. "I'm fairly new to the area still," both of which were true, what reason would she have to lie to the cat? This was one of the first interactions she had had with any supernatural being, let alone her species. "My name is Scarlett, I just moved here about a weak ago," she said, introducing herself to the female werecat before her. This was a rare opportunity to make a friend, and so she wasn't about to pass it up. Dogs and cats weren't supposed to get along but then again, Scarlett never was apart of the status quo. A friend was a friend in her eyes, even if that friend smelled strangely.
