South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The lack of holidays was by far one of Sterling's least favorite aspects of his job - bested only perhaps by the holidays that tended to bring families into the restaurant in doves. Valentines, for example, was surely one of his most dreaded of days, after all, he should be allowed to instead be home spending time with his loved ones - that is, if he had any. He supposed, with further thought on the topic, that the point was quite moot. It wasn't as if Sterling could suggest that Henry spend a holiday with him in the first place, after all, he'd been careful to not overstep his boundaries ever since that night. It was an evening Sterling had hardly forgotten and if he was honest with himself he had probably taken more than his fair share of shy, wanting glances at his roommate ever since the affair though he took exceeding care to ensure such was done only when he was sure Henry wouldn't notice. Another soft breath of air left his lips, his bright blue gaze refocusing upon the vegetable in front of him and yet his knife continued to move in that same methodical rhythmic motion that came from years of practice.

His gaze glanced up briefly as the back door of the kitchen flew open though quickly enough returned to his work. After all, the man hadn't quite made friends with his co workers and so it mattered rather little to him who was late or who was relieving who if it had nothing to do with himself. What he didn't expect, however, was the fashion at which his wrist was suddenly grabbed, the boy dragged abruptly away from his work station. it took him a moment to understand what was going on as he shuffled behind the mysterious figure, just as it too took him a moment to recognize those blonde locks ahead of him. "Henry?" His voice was a whisper of confusion as he followed the man into a storage unit, entirely caught off guard by the close proximity he found himself in. There was but maybe a foot of space separating the two boys and the dim light from overhead certainly felt more romantic than it should have. What was wrong with him? Thinking of romance with his roommate? Still, he couldn't ignore that nagging sensation of deja vu.

He forcefully pushed those thoughts away from the forefront of his mind, trying to focus entirely upon the words spoken to him. A deposit box? Henry's name? A small frown crossed the man's features. He knew well exactly what this meant. That deposit box could be the key to Henry finding out his last name, who he was, his life before this and any relationships before this. And although it was a great thing, it also meant there was a very real possibility that Henry might be leaving. Still, he hardly wanted to explain that line of thought to the man and so instead, Sterling merely put on his best attempt at a smile.
"That's great Henry! This could be the break you were looking for, when are you going to go get this deposit box?"

And yet, unspoken, the real question that hung into the air was this: 'when are you going to leave me?'
