South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari

It should have been easy, a quick and easy lure and trap that Kato had successfully accomplished many times before. Apparently though the fates had other ideas for him in the form of a beautiful young Were. It was luck alone that neither Hunter's shot off an arrow immediately from the sudden appearance as some had the tendency to do. Perhaps it was simply due to the woman's nudity which was a far less common thing for the bipeds. It did mean there was going to be more work on his end which was the aggravating thing. He wasn't really afraid of being killed...just that it would take more energy on his part to take care of them.

Kato's movements were quick and sure, displaying that he was a veteran at disarming and fighting which was probably new to the Hunters from their obvious shock. The whole fight lasted only minutes, during which Kato noted the woman's hurried attempt at retreat from the arrow slicing across her arm. He really thought she would take off completely so was certainly surprised to still see her in the clearing when he returned. Some Weres would probably argue about Kato leaving the Hunter alive and allowing the other to limp off. The difference between him and others though was that he never ended a life unless absolutely unavoidable...maiming was acceptable though as it left a lasting impression for that attacker to think about their chosen career path.

The adrenaline from the fight was still singing through his body as he approached the woman. It was that adrenaline that allowed him to yank the arrow from his shoulder without feeling as much pain as he should, though given time he was sure it would be unbearable unless treated. Slight annoyance crossed his features when the woman simply began walking away back a tent when he questioned her and it was that same annoyance that caused him to follow determinedly after her once scooping up the tattered remains of his jeans. Kato raised a brow, looking rather incredulous, "I got you shot? You were the one who were the one who shifted. I had everything under control until you came along and-"

Kato's rant faded off as he felt the burn of his wounds begin to ebb away, pulling his gaze down to inspect his chest, witnessing the once bleeding hole heal over. Had it not been for the thick trail of blood left running down his chest he would have never believed that he had been shot in the first place. "Well aren't you talented." He commented lightly glancing back at her as she held a cloth to her own cut which Kato would have argued was simply a flesh wound though for someone who wasn't used getting shot at with silver it probably felt like a much bigger deal. "I'm guessing you can't do that to yourself." He nodded to her arm with an amused look. "Well, I'm sure you wouldn't want help with that...surely an idiot wouldn't have a way to draw out the silver residue and increasing healing." Kato's tone was obviously rhetorical as he let a small sandwich baggie with muddled green paste unfold from his hand that he had pulled from his jean pocket. He had been thankful to see that the pocket had survived. "What'll it be, Little Dove?" A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he shifted one step back as if to leave her.
