South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Her question in regards to his scent seems to earn the woman a rather blank look, the leopards head tilted over to one side as he simply shakes it once more, shoulders rolling in a cattish-shrug of sorts before his words slip readily into her mind once more, finding it only easier and easier to communicate with the wolf. She may not be pack, her mind not so readily connected to his own and yet the more...content he becomes in her company, the easier this mind link simply becomes.

"You smell like dog...all dog is bad. Cat is better. All my...things smell....like me. Now you do...to."

That he may very well have decided that Birdie is one of his things, a possession to be had and owned in much the same way as his bed, his toys or his favoured tree within the park- is evidently clear. He offers her little chance to retort however, very near demanding she make some attempt to hide as he commands, the woman complying readily to his order, as well she should, before he proceeds to find her in record time, launching himself atop her in play, teeth biting down upon her ear as her own paws bat at him and a playful growl rolls from within her chest, only further encouraging the boisterous leopards game as they scuffle, allowing her to rise only when he is assured he has had enough, demanding now that her own eyes close, her question seeing his features shift into a look of confusion once more, head rolling again to one side.

"No....no attacking, that is not....the game."

He is content to offer no further explanation, racing eagerly from the cave, his childish nature entirely engaged in these moments as he bounds free of the earthen tunnel she had concealed herself within, racing away and across the open expanse to choose his own hiding place amongst the boulders and rocky outcrops, lowering himself to the earth, form well concealed, assured he will be victorious in this as he simply waits, golden amber eyes searching for her approach as he peers though the boulders and stones- the tip of his tail flicking in the cat-like manner that all felines seem unable to control, the girl racing right past him as he purrs in delight, claws sinking in and out of the earth- until a tail strokes against him, head turned suddenly to view the return of the she-wolf, her joy over shadowing his disdain at having been located, irritated huff forced from his jaws- the very picture of a sore loser as she asks if indeed she has won.

"No. I...found you.....more faster....so I am...winner. You must...get me....dinner now."

That he would have won regardless of her efforts is surely entirely clear now as he moves to detangle himself from his hiding place, pausing to stretch his long lean form as he does, tail momentarily brushing against her in some for of...acceptance all the same as he pads forward another few paces to peer down the other side of the hill, pupils dilating almost instantly at the sight of what lays upon the other side, form dropped hurriedly into the tangle of grass and scrub that make up the knoll on which they stand, tail once more lashing side to side in feral anticipation as a low growl calls birdie to him once more.

"Get me...one of those."

He merely gestures to the family of rabbits that graze below, their warren surely somewhere close by, the short, sharp movements of the small creatures seeming to hold his attention with utter assurance and yet it would seem he is determined to remain lazy, desiring t have his meal brought to him today. He is the winner after all.
