South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It was dark. All she could see was an eternal darkness. She could not hear anyone or anything. Everything was silent. It was unnerving and yet at the same time peaceful. She could not move. It felt odd to be immobilized and for a moment her heart began to speed up, but it suddenly stopped as she faintly realized there was no need for her to move in the first place. As of right now for a very rare moment all was right in the world. Her mind shifted into a logical reason that she was like this because she was in a deep sleep and it would be wise to shut herself down again. Shut down. All thoughts went away momentarily again. She was at peace. It was such a rarity and yet her body should be warning her, telling her that all these factors was wrong. However, she assumed she was safe and secure within the Ark, curled up against Tobias within their hammock, sleeping a dead, dead sleep.

Raven was lying up against a dark corner within the silver trimmed cage. Her head was in the corner her breathing shallow and steady, the girl clearly asleep. Around her wrists and ankles were matching silver shackles that allowed limited movement. She could stand and move around for 3 feet. Around her neck was a heavy silver shackle that would force the girl to be still should she need to be forced to. Unable to heal herself the silver continued to burn at her skin. As the Dark Hunter violently woke Frost up Raven did not even flinch within her sleep. She couldn't hear Frost or the Dark Hunter, or the sound of the electricity running in the cattle prod. She could not hear his dark and twisted words or his heavy footsteps approach her. It was the gentle and soft touch of calloused hands against her cheek that causes her body to move towards it, leaning her cheek into the hand, once more truly believing it was Tobias.

However, all such simple and good thoughts dashed away the moment she was startled by the sudden hard and vicious slap against her face. Blue-grey eyes opened wide as the dim lights made it difficult to see and register just where she was. Seeing an unknown male caused her to immediately back herself up against the corner, attempting to curl in a ball, to be defensive and give herself some time to think if he wanted to attack her. Though as she moved she gave a soft yelp feeling her skin burn as the silver shackles rubbed against her pale skin. Yet that pain would be overridden by the sudden stream of electricity that painfully went through her body causing her nerves to scream, a sharper cry was unleashed as she began to wither on the floor. Feeling a mix of relief that the electricity left her body her eyes shifted towards the other corner where she saw another figure being attacked with the cattle prod. Her eyes would return to the Dark Hunter as she slowly attempted to understand just where she was, she couldn't remember how she got here in the first place.

As she listened to what the Dark Hunter had to say all the light within her eyes suddenly went away. Looking around the cage and seeing herself shackled once more brought a terrible flashback when she was just a young child. After being locked away within a cage and being chained up left the girl conditioned in such a terrible way that she didn't feel the need to even try and get out. She knew what was going to happen and there was nothing she could do. Slowly she picked herself up and curled up into the corner, leaning her head against the wall, sadden and dead eyes just stared straight ahead. For a moment her eyes briefly looked over to the other figure that was chained up as well wondering who it was, hoping it was someone from her pack and at the same time hoping it wasn't. She didn't want anyone else within her pack to suffer the same fate. Though her eyes would widen for a moment as she realized who it was. For a moment there was a mixture of hate and sympathy on her mauled façade, her eyes glaring at him for a moment, but all that hostility washed away. They were stuck together, and well, at least he wouldn't bring harm to her pack anymore. With a broken sigh she muttered aloud looking at him and then looking back at the front door of the cage.

"Of all the people I have to be chained with, it had to be you."
