South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari

Kato had anticipated that his sister and Edie would get along and was glad that it was turning out to be true. He knew his mother was going to take a little time to warm up to Edie; she was always skeptical of new people coming into the herd. The least he could do was ensure Edie had a friendly face in one of the women of the herd. His sister certainly had plenty of friends so if Maeve took Edie in then Kato was sure his girlfriend would be quickly enveloped by the rest. His attention drifted away to the fire and dancing while his sister and girlfriend spoke. Only when he heard his name did his smoky eyes return to the women. "Hmm?" Maeve didn't seem upset by Edie's comment about not being good at running, though did seem a bit confused and curious. "I heard a rumor that you weren't a rhino. It's true? Rhinos are pretty big so almost any other Were will be smaller. I understand the fear about being stepped on. What are you then?"

Meave didn't let the chance of not going running dissuade her from attempting to find another way to get time with Edie though. Market was easy enough, no running or Were forms needed. However, Meave did glance over at Kato when Edie asked if he would come with. The weight of both women looking at him caused Kato to shift uncomfortably once more, "Uhm, I-.." He was perhaps spared the explanation by Meave who took it upon herself to explain as she seemed huffy by Kato's fidgeting. "Men don't go to market. It's about two hours walk out, we leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon." Although Meave wasn't uncomfortable with it, her gaze automatically averted from the couple when Edie wrapped her arms around Kato. "We can go with some of my friends and Kato can stay here with the men and get your hut done so Apa can have his back. You're going to need more room than a bachelor hut." Kato glanced down at Edie, gently placing a hand in reassurance on hers that hugged around him so closely. Perhaps if he hadn't still felt a bit bad about her waking up alone he would have insisted she go along with Meave and her friends. However, she conceded that she may need more time so finally commented, "I'll come, Meave." "What?" "I'll go to market." "But-..." "It's fine. We'll meet you in the square in the morning." Kato nodded simply. Meave gave a questioning look and a thin-lipped look but quickly turned a flash of a smile to Edie. "See you in the morning." And then she was off to rejoin dancing at the other side of the bonfire.

Kato waited for Meave to completely disappear before turning back to Edie with a simper. "Now that you're awake...dance with me?" The fact that he just agreed to do something that would perhaps end in cultural shock made his stomach churn. Though he kept it hidden from his tone, his eyes wavered slightly. He would do anything for Edie.
