West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

There was a reason why she was not reckless or a careless individual. She made sure to always follow the rules. Morals and rules were her foundation and it ensured her that she would always be safe from others. As long as she traveled down the right path then she would be okay, she would not be punished, ever. However, her companion was not one that followed down the straight and narrow path. Rather her deviant mate held her hand and dragged her along down the wrong way, purposefully taking her with him, wanting her to see that all would be okay if she lived on the wild side. Oh there were plenty of times when she was absolutely right, they shouldn't have done something, and yet Tobi wouldn't care. He found the fun in every little mischievous thing. Whereas Raven was frantically terrified expecting such a nasty outcome, and yet, Tobi made sure they were unscathed. All Raven understood was that in life there were consequences and punishments. These were things that Raven knew far too terribly well and it helped keep her locked within her shell. She was young, she was free, and she should be a bit rambunctious. Oh, but the Raven was never like that. The meek and mild woman kept to herself and made sure she never did anything out of line. The poor girl didn't know how to live, but thankfully her deviant companion was attempting to unlock those chains and show her it was all okay. That he would want her, out of everyone he knew, to accompany him on this particular rascally undertaking was ludicrous. Yet as a couple, weren't they supposed to do things together? After all he did state he did this every year with Tetradore, and with him gone and that pain still agonizing for them both, was it not her job as his mate to help make him feel better? He was, at times annoyingly a creature of repetition and habit, she understood the importance of this activity. Raven only wished she could do her part and help them in this crazy mission.

Trust was the foundation of their relationship. Trust was the most important thing they valued when it came to connecting with others. Their past had beaten them down, in similar and different ways, and yet they endured. How they did, who could say? It had taken some time for the two to trust one another and now Raven trusted him completely. He could take her hand and take them to Hell, and she would obediently follow, assured that everything would be okay. After all he had made sure that no harm ever came to her, and when his presence was at her side, no harm did come. Most would think the deranged man had some twisted control upon her, perhaps Stockholm syndrome, and yet through all his hotly demands â€"he never mistreated her. Indeed he wasn't safe to be around sometimes, but the young woman knew that she could survive his outbursts. Tonight though she was absolutely terrified. She was not afraid of her mate. She couldn't be. She was afraid of herself. She was concerned and petrified of her task she was given tonight. He was leading her down a path she was unfamiliar with, but she knew it was wrong...so very wrong. To steal presents that others worked and paid for. To some this was a very small sin, but to her, this was almost the worst thing she ever did in her entire life. After all, she killed her entire pack, and that was a deep red mark in her ledger that would never be washed cleaned. Apprehensively she looked to her mate shocked to see how calm and relaxed he was. Of course he had done this with Tetradore, and yet, she knew deep down he and her Alpha had done similar things. Raven isn't stupid. Raven isn't in blind. Raven has always known that Tetradore and Tobias runaround and do things...things it was best she did not know and she dared to never ask. As long as they came back to the Ark, safe and sound, ready to eat the dinner she prepared for them then all was well. She hoped too, that they would all be well, after this.

She appreciated his attempt to steady her nerves. He was trying, in his way, to assure her that they would be okay. Whether they made it out of here without being caught, or trapped, Raven knew he would remain at her side. He would not abandon her. She would not abandon him. He needed to do this. She knows, and yet, she is uncertain with her abilities. As a wolf her tail swayed back behind her slowly, blue-grey eyes scanning the lasers. It is when she brings her head upwards she feels his gentle touch under her chin, a soft whimper released, as he stole a kiss atop of cold black nose. With a sigh she shook her head as she allowed herself to get to her bigger bear-like size. Using her telekinesis she caught the packages and placed them gently on the ground. Her ears twitching, picking up all the sounds, just in case a guard was approaching. As he leapt and climbed, she silently prayed he would not fall. As he lands on the ground she makes a step forward, wanting to make sure he was okay. As he gathered up the presents and settled himself on her back, she froze. Turning her dial she looked to the room and the door that would be their escape. As he leans to whisper in her ear she releases a breath she hadn't known she was holding. Tentatively she takes a few steps forward and then begins packing back and forth, still nervous, but also trying to fight the right opening to take. He held so much confidence in herself that she could hardly bring up any of it for herself to use. Finding an opening she took a step forward and back and then leapt, landing perfectly between the lasers. She went still, feeling at how Tobi was on her back and the presents, giving him enough time to gather himself and the presents should he need to. Breathing slowly she looked around for another place, finding the lasers crisscrossing each other quite well. Taking another leap she goes left, and then right, and then quickly forward, because she realized the space was too tight. She stills again the woman shaking now, afraid that she might mess up. She cranes her dial back and forth, noticing that she couldn't right make out a place to go. It was a risk, she knows, and yet she knows she needed to move quickly. Taking a deep breath she made a few more jumps and managed to land safely near the door. Exhaling loudly her dial and tail lowers behind her catching her breath as her nerves steady. Slowly she pokes her head outside the door looking around for any guards.
