West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

Tetradore had to admit he found himself enjoying this side of the woman he once knew merely as 'that coyote'. Her playfulness seemed far greater now, she seemed more at ease than she ever was within that furred form and, likewise, Tetradore relaxed enough to so tease her on aspects he certainly never expected him to. A simper creeped over the man's features as she so declared him a 'weirdo' and yet, she seemed all the more inclined to insist she might further utilize such a name for him if he didn't, instead, give her his own. "Yes, I have a name, coyote." He commented, calling the girl by the same name she'd used for him - at least, until she offered him those syllables of her actual name. In truth, he couldn't help but to be inquisitive of if she had simply made up that name upon turning him or if those coyotes she'd once run with had their own system of names. Still, Malia seemed distinctly...human in it's origins. Perhaps it had been given to her before she'd been lost to the wild? Either way, he supposed it hardly mattered. "It's Tetradore." He stated, anticipating that teasing over his surname in the same way so many individuals did. He had been given any number of nicknames, not all of them pleasing. Not to mention those who simply regarded him with doubt.

Still, Tetradore allowed that conversation to drift from their names to his own notable disappointment at her choice of pack. He knew how utterly off limits she was to him now, in more ways than one and yet, Tetradore saw no reason to further involve her in those affairs between himself and that stallion. Rather, the man focused his attention upon attempting to explain those phrases of speech that had been altogether foreign to the female, thanks to the sheer amount of time she'd spent in the wilderness. That tilt of her head and wiggle of her nose brought a small simper to his features and yet, he hardly faulted her for her curiosity. After all, in this aspect she was hardly any different than his best friend. "A kettle is a container you put water in. You can put the kettle on some sort of fire and it'll heat up the water inside of it. I guess they all used to be black or something." A small shrug crossed his shoulders and yet, in that moment, Tetradore realized how truly odd that phrase really was. After all, pots were certainly no longer black - unless one was specially requiring some sort of cast iron pot.

Thankfully, she seemed far more interested within his siblings, even if that in itself was intriguing. After all, few really cared of that family he had, much less what they were like. His eyebrows furrowed as he watched that thoughtful look that crossed her features. Tetradore could tell there was something she was not telling him, so prompting the fellow to inquire as to why she was asking him if he'd had a brother when he'd hardly mentioned anything of Tobias and his peculiar relationship with the fellow. That shrug was met with a subdued look of skepticism and yet, Tetradore hardly saw a need to press her on the topic. Rather, the man feigned mock insult at her insistence that she was interested in his potential brother only for the man's appearances. "What, I'm not good enough looking for you?" He inquired quite pointedly. Truly, he was surprised she'd even voiced such a sentiment in the first place, she'd never seemed the type to find mortals attractive.

It was the alcohol that so seemed to distract her and though she regarded his own with intense suspicion, he suspected he knew well of a drink she might enjoy. That confirmation that she liked berries was enough to coax the man to rise, ordering that beverage he was certain she'd enjoy before returning with that chilled glass to place in front of her. She seemed equally as apprehensive to taste this one, a fact he could hardly blame her of, and yet, soon enough, that curiosity got the better of her. Tetradore could hardly help that soft chuckle that rolled from his lips at the fashion her gaze so lit up, clearly enjoying the beverage. "It is." He agreed, content to nestle back in his chair and watch her as she downed that cold beverage in a matter of minutes. Clearly she had enjoyed it a little too much. That beam she provided him was met with a small one of his own before the man nodded, gesturing towards the bartender. "You can, but just one. If you drink too many you'll get sick." He offered her, at least attempting to look out for the girl. His gaze turned back towards her, meeting those eyes that so bore into him. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly and yet, the man shook his head. "No. I had a meeting here. It's over now though." He stated, a small shrug crossing his shoulders. Truly, he hardly had a reason to return to the Ark most nights now a days except that it was the only place he called home.
