West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

If Raven told a complete stranger about herself and her place of residence, they would never believe her when she claimed that the Ark was her home. Indeed the Ark was an extremely unique place. It was a dingy bar where their kind fought one another and where the darkest of transactions took place. It was a dark and disturbing place. The old cargo ship outdated on the outside and in. It was no place for a woman as herself to live. It was no place for a pack to roam or a family to raise. And yet, Raven loved it here. The West District had its dark and dirty shadowy places and yet it had a charming quality. The place was like a diamond in the rough and a gentle soul like her rather loved the area she dwelled in. She was quite a happy to be here. She stuck out like a sore thumb, she was not one that should be here, and yet she was. This was where she belonged, with this small and scruffy pack, with an aloof, but caring Alpha, and a deranged, but loving mate. One would think she was absolutely miserable and that was far from the truth...she was very happy here.

It was easy to walk through the Ark. The thick crowd parted as she moved by. Being the mate of the undefeated champion, and member of the Nightshade pack had its perks. Not to mention that she was capable of holding her own within the ring. She was not one that saw fighting as a sport. Rather fighting should only be done in self-defense. There wasn't much joy she saw in fighting. She didn't understand why her mate or Alpha enjoyed it, but she did not judge them poorly. She could understand the fun, and perhaps she would enjoy more if she wouldn't suffer the consequences. She was incapable of healing like their species was capable of. A broken limb would take any Were a few hours, feeling the soreness for a day or two, and be good as new. For her a broken limb healing would be only a day or two shorter than a human's. Scars would normally disappear on a Were and yet for her they remained permanent. The times she did take a turn within the ring, she was always beside her mate, and she won. Of course her participation was rare, and yet she held the respect from others within the Ark. She earned it and that was how it worked within the animal world, you earned what you sow.

Standing within the medical room she quietly opened up the cabinet, bringing down the box that she needed. She was quite used to being in this room. Either she was patching herself up or she was patching someone else up. Sometimes patrons would be bleeding too much and some wounds needed to be patched up, if only so they could continue sitting on the sidelines bringing more money to the Ark by watching and betting on the fights, or eating and drinking what sustenance the Ark had to offer. After all this was a business and although the lupine had a heart, she understood the bottom line of the Ark, it was a business. Turning around she winced as the wolf attempted to settle herself, the creature wounded. The question she posed was met with a nod, agreeing that if it wasn't for the silver she would be a bit better. Gently her hand would press along the girl's side, looking for any other wound, muttering softly.

"My face hurts a lot, but I'll get to it after you."

One hand would raise up to touch her own cheek, frowning some. It would seem that she would probably get another scar to once again ruin her face. Although she was accustomed to seeing her face already scarred, it didn't mean she didn't feel numb to it. Rather she was quite sadden each time she looked at her reflection, and it would seem she would only feel more remorseful the next time she looked at herself. The door would suddenly open and she would see a familiar large spotted cat coming in. A wide smile appeared as she watched him enter, as he rubbed his head against her leg she couldn't help but lovingly scratch behind his ear. Blue-grey eyes shifted towards Mira shrugging her shoulder as she responded gently.

"Not all. There is one that is fair although he is a bit of a jerk at times. This is my mate Tobi and my name is Raven. Don't mind him he's just curious."

As she watched the leopard leap up onto the table she placed a protective hand over the wolf, stroking her head gently in a reassuring manner. She knew quite well Tobi wouldn't harm her, but that didn't mean Mira would understand. She allowed her mate to sniff the lupine, understanding his curiosity. As he shifted into a male she tossed him a grin, although it turned into a frown when he made a comment she was broken. Shaking her head she responded back kindly, correcting him.

"She is not broken Tobi. Remember what Frost did to me? That is a broken wolf. She's just hurt, a Dark Hunter got us."

She would grab the gauze and gently start cleaning up the wound, being gentle and careful with it. Once she had cleaned the area she began to bandage it gently, knowing that stiches were not needed, not when the skin would heal. The question of Dark Hunters caused the woman to chuckle quite softly, giving the boy a side look, her tone holding a bit of humor to it.

"No Tobi, no Dark Hunters are following us. If they were, you'd know and you'd already be tearing them a part."
