West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

There was no denying that Tetradore had a rather lot to say of Calliel's maker and yet, he was hardly unaware of that simple fact that, at least as far as his particular issues with the man were concerned, Frost was not fully at fault. After all, Nadya had practically given herself to the man by her own volition, Raven had foolishly jumped into a battle she couldn't win to save someone that wasn't apart of their family, and Samantha had been altogether naive to trust both Nadya and Frost, even so far as to keep their secrets hidden from him. No, Frost was not entirely to blame for each of those encounters he had with the steed but he was not innocent either. He simply....was. Still, that didn't stop the alcohol in his system from loosening his tongue. What he didn't expect, however, was the sudden story that left her lips of that life she'd once had in Africa and a bowl. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly as she told him of those animals she'd carved into that clay, that pottery clearly had taken her some time to craft - all for a boy who couldn't appreciate it, as colorful with his insults as he had been. That suggestion that she'd smashed the bowl into the boy's face, however, brought a snort from his nose. Considering how she had regarded him but hours ago, he almost wasn't surprised by that feisty little minx.

"I can't say I've ever truly been in love...or had a crush" He commented in an entirely musing fashion, the man leaning back against the wall as he continued to sip on that liquor in his glass. Girls he tended to even flirt with tended to suddenly find themselves without a heartbeat. He could hardly relate with those matters of the heart. Risque had a tendency to either kill them, force him to do so, or simply turn them in front of him. In his youth, she had been possessive of him to a fault. And in his older years? Well, by that point he'd largely stopped trying altogether. The man's attention shifted at that compliment Calliel offered him, that warm chuckle left his lips in response, even if it wasn't exactly his ego that had been fluffed so much as the alcohol that was running through his system. He poured in those final ingredients she requested, the man leaning back against the wall as Calliel fiddled with that mixer. He watched as that machine swirled to life, those wet and dry ingredients mixing together into a swirling, rich, brown substance. It certainly looked promising, to say the very least.

His emerald eyes flickered towards the young woman as she reached up to increase the speed on that mixer, the inner mechanisms swirled ever faster, quite near flinging that batter in a way that even caught Tetradore off guard. He blinked, a clear look of surprise upon his features as he glanced up at Calliel. He was almost surprised by that gentle touch as that towel was brushed across his features, that grin upon her face prompted an equally warm one on his own. Okay, so maybe this was one of the best ideas he'd had all night. After all, the batter did taste good. Tetradore reached up, his thumb brushed across the woman's cheeks as he smeared that batter on her own flushed cheeks to resemble the shape of cat whispers, only to promptly declare she was one of them. That look upon her features of utter delight almost prompted a hint of guilt within him. She looked so pleased that it almost made him wonder exactly what Calliel's relationship with Frost still was, if any. That 'meow' that left her lips, however, pulled his thoughts from such a place, that grin once again settled on his features as he informed her that she would have made a rather cute cat.

He watched as she turned that mixer back on, staring at that bowl with an unexpected intensity. Tetradore's head tilted to the side as she begun to speak and yet, he'd hardly anticipated how her food preferences had changed since her transformation. "Really?" He inquired at the mention of meat, that surprise quite clear within his voice. After all, his feline self had indulged in that raw meat and blood but his human half was hardly interested in those substances at all. It was interesting that he remained unaffected why she had changed - maybe it had to do with the fact that he was born this way? "Damn....that does suck. You'd....hate living here with all the meat we consume." The man commented idly, his thoughts once again shifting to how gleeful she had looked at that idle comment of being one of them. His emerald eyes watched her as she moved, dumping that batter before sliding that pan into the oven. He had hardly even realized that the bottle of liquor he had brought with him was now near empty - at least until she mentioned it. Tetradore nodded, sliding off of that countertop before pausing, "We should add some into the icing." He stated, entirely pleased with this idea. Rather than give her a chance to refute it, however, Tetradore made his way towards that door, fully intending to fetch them another bottle.

He made his way easily through that crowd, ducking behind the bar as he considered those bottles before him, altogether ignoring any waiting patrons. After all, this was what he hired someone else for. Wasn't it? He plucked two very specific bottles from the shelves, only to turn and leave that crowd behind him as he meandered back towards that kitchen. "Okay, this one for icing." He declared as he stepped back in that room, placing a bottle of Bacardi in front of the mixing bowl. "And this one...for drinking. I was given it as a gift from....uh..." His voice trailed off, the man almost unwilling to admit even to her the extent of the things he was involved in. Rather, he brushed it off with a wave. "Well, the point is it's a gift and I don't think anyone else here will drink it with me." He presented her with that black case, the words 'El Dorado' clearly printed upon it in gold. He had been waiting to share this with his fae friend but with the man's often absence, he scarcely had an idea when he'd return. Maybe he'd leave half a bottle to share with that age old fae and indulge in half now with Calliel. It seemed like a fair plan. Tetradore pulled that large glass bottle from the depths of it's container only to pour them some within her glass for sipping. "Hey Calliel." He commented, as he settled back upon that counter, pouring his own glass. "Do you still like....have a pack?" He inquired, that thought still clearly present on his mind.
