West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

Alexander supposed he should hardly be surprised, really, that the young woman settled upon him was entirely unfamiliar with that equine species. It seemed wholly logical, considering what little he knew of her history and yet, the Dark Hunter was more than willing to encourage her all the same. He was certainly attuned enough to note that hint of doubt within her voice, prompting the man to offer her a firm nod as he reached for her hand. "I think you'll enjoy it." He commented simply enough, "It can be....freeing, I think." It was difficult to explain really, when she had the woods to escape to, how riding on horseback on the beach might coax such a feeling of reprieve within the ancient fellow. It reminded him of his youth, before cars and street lights and the like that the world had become so accustomed to. Still, it was that thought of the modern world clashing with that one he originated from that prompted the man to reconsider that suggested wardrobe. The last thing he had anticipated, however, was for the suggestion of those slits within that dress, ones decidedly provocative enough to catch his interest whilst still somehow covering enough to not chase the almost traditional man away completely. His eyebrow rose at the suggestion, "Well, that, I wouldn't mind seeing." He countered with a hint of a near playful challenge.

It was that topic of their upcoming date, however, that prompted the Dark Hunter to complete their plans for the evening. After all, to be a true and proper modern date, he was well aware of the necessity to pick her up in a vehicle at her home. That inquiry of where she lived fell innocently enough from his lips and yet, that sudden hesitation he was met with was anything but. A small frown crossed the Macedonian man's features as she seemed to consider that inquiry, almost as if she was uncertain of the answer to which she intended to provide him. Alexander was wholly unaware of Alexis' current state of homelessness, the man instead considering that there was another reason entirely she wished him to not know of it. Perhaps she didn't trust him enough to show him to that place she rested her head at night? Or maybe that home she'd taken was far dingier than she wished to show him. He was paying her enough for a decent apartment, wasn't it? Maybe he'd have to check the price of homes within the West side against her salary to ensure it. That warm smile that she presented him with hardly fooled the age old tactician, much less her smooth attempt at a recovery and yet, he hardly saw the need to press the woman on the matter, not yet. He would find out that secret for himself sooner or later.

Rather, Alexander merely nodded after a long moment's consideration. "Alright....then I'll see you at the cafe at seven then?" He offered her, waiting for a confirmation that those tentative plans were indeed okay. It was only once that date was set in stone that the King began to consider exactly where they were, much less the hour of the evening. "I suppose we should put some clothes on before anyone finds us." He muttered softly, leaning down to brush his lips against her forehead. Though he had no regrets of taking her beneath the stars within that warm grass, Alexander had little intention of pressing his luck. The last thing he wanted was for someone to call the police or to explain to the Hunter Council why he was naked in the park with one of them - not that he saw his own girlfriend in such a light. Still, he knew well what those far younger members of the city's council would think of that coupling, even if half of them were damn near hypocrites as it was. Even so, Alexander shifted ever so slightly, reaching for those articles of clothing that surrounded them.
